Based on the analysis of the data gathered while drilling, it is uncertain whether the well may flow oil or gas, or a combination of both. Furthermore, the composition of the hydrocarbons would need to be determined during the well test

At HL, there is no online quote for UJO even for 1,000 to buy. Quote to sell available.

Tested dummy for a few minutes now.

But spread 0.26/.28p & most trades are a shade under 0.27p which indicates
they are sells but the frequency just strikes me as buyers picking small numbers
up for a punt...... what do you all think????

I'm sure the HSE are busy it's a typical Government Dept. burdened by mountains of red tape & bureaucracy which is rather typical of this country. And people wonder why the UK is a difficult place to do business in !

from interweb...

"How many barrels of oil from one ton of oil?

Petroleum has a specific gravity of 0.88 which means 1 liter weighs 0.88 kilograms.
From the volume page we know that:
1 barrel [US, petroleum] = 158.9872972 liter
So 1 barrel weighs:
158.9872972 * 0.88 = 139.908821536 kilograms
1 metric ton is 1000 kilograms:
139.908821536 / 1000 = 7.1475121
So there are a little over 7 barrels of petroleum in a metric ton."

so they applied for 200t, which equates to 1400 bls

of course its not that simple, and lng/water cut/gas will all have to be separated and dealt with..

other consideration is just how long they would run the well test for.. could be a 24hr to start to get some numbers..

so back to the original point... another (US?) website

"A gasoline tanker truck holds 9,000 gallons of gasoline. Since a barrel of oil is 44 gallons, one can assume that an oil tanker truck can haul about 200 barrels of crude"

so we would need 7 tankers (I guess not all at the same time) as an option to fixed storage
