05/10/2024 11:01 | RNS 19.08.24 - Since being placed on restricted and periodic test production from 7 August 2024, the Andrews 2-17 well has produced 544 barrels of oil and 1,895,000 cubic feet of gas. RNS 23.09.24 - Since being placed on restricted and periodic test production in early August 2024, the Andrews 2-17 well has produced 1,014 barrels of oil and 3,656,000 cubic feet of gas ...from 07.08.24 to 23.09.24 only 1014 barrels or about 22 bpd (plus gas) so August data for A-2 should be about 500 barrels assuming a steady average of 22bpd | likeawalrus
04/10/2024 14:29 | dan 3 drills in 3 months feels overly optimistic, are they really that good over there? perhaps they have hired the drill rig to drill them back to back but bear in mind they drilled A-1 and A-2 three months apart (28.03.24 & 10.07.24), perhaps it comes down to money? | likeawalrus
04/10/2024 14:07 | Well, if they are going to do three drills in this quarter, they need to get a move on. | dan de lion

04/10/2024 12:55 | It's not just Iran's facilities, the issue is that Iran will then close the straits of Hormuz, or try to, which blocks pretty much all the oil from the Gulf. That would likely bring the USA and others into direct confrontation with Iran. It all depends on exactly what Israel does, but I don't expect it to be trivial, nor the end of the affair. Israel have to stop Iran getting a nuclear bomb and they are not far away and being helped by Russia now and possibly China, so they can close the gap quicker. If Israel doesn't act now (while they have casus belli) they may not get another shot at it. | 1347
04/10/2024 07:43 | WTI's a bit more than Brent, so UJO's US income is up as well. | lageraemia
04/10/2024 07:42 | lager, from what I have read, there is plenty of spare capacity to pick up the slack should Kharg be flattened. imo if that happens there will be a short, sharp spike but poo will settle down albeit higher than it is now. | likeawalrus

03/10/2024 11:16 | Well if DB wants to invest in speculative ventures then he and and mates should average down and buy UJO, no excuse not to do so, they got a big enough pay rise last year, as they do most years, based on what criteria DB alone knows. | 1347
03/10/2024 10:45 | In April 2019, Union Jack conditionally agreed to sell its 7.5% interest in PEDL143 to the new Operator, UKOG. The sale is subject to the execution of a sale and purchase agreement, the principal terms of which have been agreed, and the subsequent approval by the Oil and Gas Authority. The aggregate purchase price by UKOG for the licence interest is £112,500 and will be settled in cash that shall then be immediately, simultaneously and irrevocably applied by Union Jack for such number of ordinary shares in UKOG which is equal to £112,500 divided by 1.156 pence, being the five day volume weighted average price on 12 April 2019. ...found this, from memory UJO sold the shares or about £5k | likeawalrus
03/10/2024 09:45 | The ukog shares were a by product of ujo wanting out of *bla bla project* (can't remember) what it was called, but it came to no good as DB predicted, so he oppted on the ukog gamble without any outlay | markfrankie
