the last placing was unnecessary imo, which is why it trashed the sp, so many of us said at the time it was not needed, in fact UJO's rns suggests it was only essential for the Royalty which DB then cancelled. He should have cancelled the whole placing but my guess is he couldn't resist free money (not earned by the company) for which fees were payable whether he proceeded or not. He chose to proceed.

17 September 2021 - Response to Market Speculation

...notes recent market speculation and confirms that it is considering a potential equity fundraising to assist principally the funding of the proposed purchase of a further 25% interest in the Claymore Piper Complex Royalty Units as disclosed in the Interim Results released on Monday 13 September 2021, to upgrade certain producing assets to enhance cashflow and to progress the Company's other appraisal projects.

There is no certainty that the potential fundraising will proceed. A further announcement will be made in due course.

Good news for all shareholdersToday 08:53

Including those that had to dip into their pockets for the £3m raise when Wressle was already producing "in excess of 950 barrels a day" Would it be rude to ask why when so close to generating enough revenue - that they couldn't raise the relatively small amount needed to keep the lights on via another method ?? Rather than the big smack in the face £3m ?
These are probably the same shareholders who had to raise £7m the year before at 16p. So, most of these shareholders have been here for a while and are still a long way below water !

So although facts and people who point them out are an obvious irritation on here, the only shareholders that are realistically seeing any of this as good news are any newbies ?!

So is it not just "good news for recent purchasers" - NOT all shareholders TAC ????"

I dont know about anyone else, but i invested to make a profit, not for the shareprice to flatline. The amount bought back is on a par with at least four PI's holdings on here, so pretty insignificant so far, when they have authority for over 10m shares.

we need the production update for Wressle, I cant see anything else substantial in the near term to get the share price moving up (although the $13m RNS may come sooner than expected). Elephant Oil IPO on Thursday, UJO already has 56k shares, looks like a dog of a share, I hope DB doesnt throw any more money at it.

The operator of the Wressle oil well in North Lincolnshire has said production could reach 1,543 barrels per day.

They have already seen well over 1000 before the turbines

From 850 to 1200 is perfectly possible, maths is not my strong point but Id guess thats around 50% !?

But as you say, nonsense.... :-)

I think they are quoting that uplift after all the export of electricity and gas is in place, likely to be a little while yet!
I assume that that when the oil flow is increased the gas flow will also increase?

just listened to malcy talking about ujo...heid worships this guy? many of us on here could give a more coherent and informative analysis of how ujo is doing, the journey to date and of course the challenges ahead, just a load of useless waffle by malcy

Hi markfrankie. Have a look at: hxxps://reabold.com/projects/west-newton-uk-onshore/ It shows about 2.5km of deviation plus horizontal section, as measured from the surface location.
