robbie has given the sellers a chance to get out at a reasonable price, only people buying are small wads of probably robbie followers. good luck but bad news is bad news no matter what spin you put on it

I have come across a slight problem, David Seaman used to wear Umbro goalkeeper gloves, oh well I won't hold that against the company, he was a great keeper once I suppose.

Robbie has a good record for getting it right. I have backed another one of his, Havelock Europa (HVE), doing ok today.

Large dump of 200k not damaged the price too much, got my eye on these as I agree with Robbie Burns these do look like a decent growth buy with football becoming more and more popular in nations such as the US and Australia, I have played football all my life and Umbro has been visually the number one football kit producer (no records just my estmiate. I am not that old so you older chaps may argue Admiral was. Traget entry point for me about a quid, stuck it on the radar. Safe buy as football will never go out of FASHION.

Most Celtic supporters were aware of the swapping over of shirt manufacturers for months and the reason an extra strip has just been released.

From what I can gather, Umbro deal was £2.1m a year and Nike one now £5m plus add ons for performance so the reason Umbro could not match it.

I tried to buy some of these yesterday but could not get them online as a persistent error code kept popping up. Thank you error. Had I known about the celtic deal I certainly like most would not have bought in. Yesterday was a great exit point for those in the know.
I work on the assumption that if UMB have lost one deal to nike many more could follow and if they want to stop a repeat performance then profits will suffer because prices will fall.
Anyway just glad not to have bought into them yesterday but alas I could regret it.

Robbie Burns AKA Frequent Trader bought today, hence the vast percentage of trades are buys. Not shifting the price though as yet.

Doughty Hanson hold 57% of the shares and want a complete exit,now thats a stock overhang.This will drift downwards for a long time!

Wont get many ethical funds investing here.Football strips made by companies that mistreat there workforce according to the Sunday Times.Oxfam has great reservations about UMBRO.This must be a good one for the shorters to get to grips with.
