So where is everybody? The most interesting day for years in the life of UMB shares and not a comment. Looks like Nike.

those names in the frame would pay more than Mike Ashley. Would be nice to see a bidding war. Rise to close at 153p on volume from 4pm onwards implies offer would come in nicely higher ;O)

indeed, very strong close with a 195k buy order in the auction at 151, and a 100k buy order in at 153 during the auction

As i said a while back on the other thread.Nigel Doughty bought 2.3 million back in March. at1.67. He will want more than that and so will I.
