Raheam - I agree the BOD will be crunching numbers internally and based on contractual obligations will have some sort of revenue expectations BASED on shipped raw materials, hence why SOH has offered indicators. It is something I covered before and a certain blogger used the same figures in his update. That said, there are 3 obstacle to your wish, my wish being granted; 1: How do you estimate sales volume of a new product(s) incorporating new science? 2: By serving up a revenue guidance in and RNS you open yourself up to scrutiny which could result in a profit warning if you undershoot the guidance by 20%.

Like it or not, SOH has given us unofficial (not RNSed) revenue guidance. However, the other issue the BOD have is one outside their control, and that is commercial partners delivering on product lead time. Larger partners like Gallenicum take almost a year because they have a global footprint for their "STOP&GO" probiotic, which takes time to amass the raw materials for production and logistics. Any slippage in time could also result in a profit warning.

Nobody I speak with are too concerned about official revenue guidance at this stage because significant trust in the BOD suggests they will deliver material growth for the patient. With the current deal pipeline OPTI will be throwing off cash c5-6 times PLC cost IMHO at the very least...everything after that is a significant bonus.

Markets are forward looking, sometimes they take their time to get there of course. Your inference OPTI is perhaps overvalued at 90p is blind to the significant value of the IP. Chr Hansen paid £73m for a single LGG strain, a strain nowhere near as versatile that OPTI's LP-LDL. Also, the OptiBiotic platform has proven its worth by enhancing the LGG strain. What value on the OptiBiotic platform alone? 1/3 of the current market value is locked in SweetBiotix - a ref to the industry £20+m and without a commercial agreement to speak of....YET!

OPTI has undergone a significant de-risking over the last 12 months and still very pregnant with newsflow and with Vitafoods and Probiota over the next few weeks, that commercial partnership conveyor belt will grow and the partnership sign-offs will increase in frequency to the point revenue guidance will not be as significant as people like you think.

OptiBiotix Health plc

("OptiBiotix" or the "Company")

Launch of extended range of LP(LDL) (R) and SlimBiome(R) products at Vitafoods 2018

OptiBiotix Health plc (AIM: OPTI), a life sciences business developing compounds to tackle obesity, high cholesterol, and diabetes announces that it will be presenting an extended range of products and presenting new research data on its LP(LDL) (R) and SlimBiome(R) products at the Vitafoods European tradeshow in Geneva from the 15-17 May 2018. The event provides the opportunity to connect with 16,500 industry decision makers from the supplements, nutraceutical, functional food and beverage industries and is viewed as one of the world's leading trade fairs for the food and drinks industry.

LP-LDL(R)

OptiBiotix will be showcasing its LP(LDL) (R) probiotic for the reduction of high cholesterol and high blood pressure in a number of new product concepts with its global manufacturing partner Sacco S.r.l. In addition to an exhibitor presence, the Company will be presenting further results of its human studies in an abstract and poster titled "Lactobacillus plantarum LP(LDL) (R) reduces cholesterol in adults with normal to mildly elevated cholesterol. ".

LP(LDL) (R) has gone through a successful commercial development since its launch at VitaFoods in May 2017 announcing seven manufacturing, application and distribution commercial agreements. The unique ability of LP(LDL) (R) to reduce both high cholesterol and high blood pressure has attracted a lot of media and industry attention leading to LP(LDL) (R) being shortlisted as 'Probiotic Product of the Year' at the show.

SlimBiome(R)

OptiBiotix will be showcasing its award winning SlimBiome(R) presented in a range of new product concepts which include natural fruit gummies, muesli pots, Nutri-Bites(R) and flavours for new bars. In addition to an exhibitor presence, the Company will be presenting results of its humans studies on SlimBiome(R) carried out by Oxford Brookes University. The study will be presented as an abstract and poster titled "SlimBiome reduces hunger and food cravings in healthy overweight and obese adults". The study shows that if you compare control and test groups who take SlimBiome(R) or a placebo the SlimBiome(R) group:-

-- Feel fuller and are less hungry
-- Have less food cravings
-- Change their food choice so eat less sweet or fatty foods

Following on from winning the award for 'Best Functional Ingredient for Health and Well Being' at Food Matters in November 2017, SlimBiome(R) has been shortlisted for the award of 'Ingredient of the Year: Weight Management'.

Stephen O'Hara, CEO of OptiBiotix, commented: "We are extremely pleased to be attending Vitafoods with a range of new products, new human studies on SlimBiome(R) and a growing list of industry partners. We are confident that our participation at VitaFoods will help progress existing discussions with corporate partners and open up opportunities in new territories for the manufacture and distribution of our growing range of products. Having both SlimBiome(R) and LP(LDL) (R) nominated for such prestigious industry awards will help attract commercial interest in our technology and products. Finally, we are really excited by the results of the human study on SlimBiome(R) which supports our scientific understanding of its mechanism of action, independent consumer surveys and all the success stories we receive from customers who use our GoFigure(R) products containing SlimBiome(R) to help manage their weight. Having a product with scientific data, which shows it helps to reduce hunger and snacking and most importantly changes a users food choice so they eat less sweet and fatty foods, is really exicting. Hunger free dieting is now a consumer option and we hope that our wider range of products containing this unique formulation will help bring the benefits of SlimBiome(R) technology to a wider international audience."

OPTIBIOTIX MAKES THE SUGAR TAX TASTE SWEETER

OptiBiotix Health Plc (OptiBiotix), a life sciences company that develops compounds to tackle obesity, high cholesterol and diabetes, offers a healthy alternative to refined sugar with a zero-calorie prebiotic sweetener, SweetBiotix.

While the food and beverage industry faces difficult decisions following the UK government’s recent introduction of levies on sugary drinks, also termed ‘the sugar tax’, SweetBiotix presents manufacturers with an advantageous solution to the backlash against sucrose.

Stephen O’Hara, OptiBiotix CEO, said “At the forefront of nutraceutical product development, OptiBiotix anticipated the growth in concerns about refined sugar several years ago and began developing a clean, calorie-free sweet fibre.

“By replacing refined sugar with SweetBiotix, manufacturers can respond positively to the tax and avoid the dilemma of passing the price changes on to customers or losing profits by shouldering the burden themselves. It really is a win-win solution for both the industry and the public, turning a potential manufacturing threat into an opportunity for companies to improve the nation’s health.”

Posing no weight gain effects, SweetBiotix is composed of naturally sweet fibres that are not digested in the gut, making it free from calories. Despite its guilt-free credentials, SweetBiotix nonetheless offers delicious taste similar to sucrose and was found in a University of Reading study to have with low off-flavours and taste ‘significantly sweeter’ than other existing sweeteners and sugars. It is therefore ideally suited to work as a bulk sugar replacement in functional food and beverage formulations.

SweetBiotix’s prebiotic composition furthermore enables the product to promote wider wellbeing by encouraging microbiome diversity, supporting the body’s microbial activity and delivering better health from the gut outwards.

wooly if you do think of having a few please let your wife have a say and point her to any news from OPTI so she can see just how good things will be.
OPTI should be opening an online store very soon indeed, that will save having to get LP-LDL from germany, a friend of mine is having problems with statins so i told him to get LP-LDL to reduce cholesterol and he should be able to reduce or stop taking statins, also told him to tell his doctor about the product as it is fairly new, its a natural product to

Getting interested humph, my investments outside the market brought me £500 gross this month, although very tempted I'm holding out :)

Shame our money hadn't been invested in opti before smith/bell lost it and gave decent parts of the business away, along with multi million contract.

Hoping Liverpool win tonight, tough game, Roma not conceded a home goal, so far this season.

hi wooly o hara has a hell of a business brain, there will be no failure with OPTI or its spin offs, wooly we investors dont have to be brave with OPTI its going to be big, we are not just getting news from OPTI but we are getting news from companies we are doing deals with, o hara had a company before but lost it due to shareholders voting yes for a takeover but it wont happen with OPTI hence spinning off diff parts of the business so a takeover cant happen fantastic to my mind.
OPTI will do for health what mobile phone did for communications, have a think on that one for a minute.
edit
also i think that dividends wont be long coming from OPTI because the revenue we recieve from spinoffs will drop to the bottom line, as we will own just over 49% of each spinoff

OptiBiotix Health plc

("OptiBiotix" or the "Company")

LP-LDL(R) news media interest in USA

OptiBiotix Health plc (AIM: OPTI), a life sciences business developing compounds to tackle obesity, high cholesterol, diabetes and skin care, announces that it has become aware of news reports on its LP-LDL(R) product in the USA. The media interest has been generated by a potential commercial partner, Seed Health, who have purchased LP-LDL(R) for use in its multi-strain product which is intended for launch in the USA in May 2018.

Seed have developed an innovative product concept which combines multiple strains of different probiotics which have been selected because of strong clinical trial data. The news report refers to clinical studies published in the scientific journal PLOS One ("PLOS") showing that one of the probiotics contained in Seeds multi-strain product reduced LDL or "bad" cholesterol and increased HDL or "good" cholesterol.

OptiBiotix reported (RNS: 7 April 2016) and subsequently published the results of its human studies in PLOS in December 2017 and at international conferences demonstrating statistical and clinical significant reductions in cholesterol and blood pressure. These presentations and publications won best scientific publications at both ProBiota 2017 and ProBiota 2018, and have raised OptiBiotix's international profile, attracting strong commercial interest in LP-LDL(R).

The article in Business Insider US provides a link to OptiBiotix's publication and discloses the use of LP-LDL(R) in Seeds product. OptiBiotix can confirm it is in discussions with Seed to agree commercial terms for the use of its LP-LDL(R) strain in Seeds products in preparation for a May launch in the USA. Whilst these negotiations are at an advanced stage, they are one of a number of discussions with US partners which may or may not progress to legal agreement. If or when commercial terms are concluded, a further announcement with be made.

Stephen O'Hara, CEO of OptiBiotix, commented: "We are pleased that the strong science, successful human studies and international awards at major scientific conferences have attracted international commercial and media interest in LP-LDL(R). This has allowed OptiBiotix to sign manufacturing, formulation/application and distribution partnerships with fast growing companies with leading market positions in multiple industry sectors across the world. We look forward to the opportunity of announcing deals with similar partners in the fast growing US marker once these have been concluded."

hi wooly another bit of news from OPTI have a read, all coming together slowly

OptiBiotix Health plc

Non-Exclusive UK distribution agreement for SlimBiome(R)

OptiBiotix Health plc (AIM: OPTI), a life sciences business developing compounds to tackle obesity, high cholesterol, diabetes and skin care, announces it has entered into a non-exclusive distribution agreement with Cambridge Commodities Ltd ("CCL"). The agreement grants CCL a non-exclusive licence to distribute OptiBiotix's SlimBiome(R) weight management technology in the United Kingdom.

CCL, a privately held company, is the leading supplier of nutritional ingredients to the sports, health & wellbeing, animal nutrition and food & beverage industries. CCL has 10 sales offices which cover the UK, Europe, USA and South Africa with a multimillion pound annual turnover. SlimBiome(R), a patented combination of natural ingredients developed by experts to provide hunger free weight loss, will be purchased from OptiBiotix and distributed by CCL as a specialised branded functional ingredient.

This agreement, with one of the UK's leading ingredients suppliers is complementary to the agreement with Knighton Food Ltd (announced on 1 November 2017), as it extends SlimBiome's(R) commercial reach into new application areas where CCL has specific sector expertise, such as sports, health & wellbeing and ingredients sectors. CCL will use their best endeavours to promote and expand the distribution of SlimBiome(R) across their network of customers and is a further step in extending the opportunities offered by SlimBiome(R) into new markets.

Stephen O'Hara, CEO of OptiBiotix, commented: "We are pleased to announce the signing of a distribution agreement with CCL. We chose them due to their leading market position and expertise in commercialising value added speciality ingredients like SlimBiome(R) to sports, health & wellbeing industries and major UK retailers. We believe working with CCL, and similar partners around the world, provides the best opportunity to expand the range of applications for SlimBiome(R) to a wide range of industry sectors. This agreement is another step in our low cost approach to growing revenues by building manufacturing, formulation/application and distribution partnerships which provide revenues across the whole value chain in multiple industry sectors."

The Wray room was packed for the panel discussion and SoH’s OPTI preso, c.80-100 ppl I would estimate. He came across extremely well during the panel discussion and his 20 minute OPTI specific preso, where he covered all the usual points 1. Size and growth of the Microbiome market 2. OPTI best in class, scientifically backed products created using Pharma technology platforms. 3. Rapid pace of commercialisation 4. Industry awards and appetite for our products (evidenced by an ever expanding pipeline of deals, both in volume and revenues). 5. Strategy of building value in each of the divisions to preparation for IPO and Div distribution.

He reiterated previous comments about breakeven by year-end, he actually mentioned Nov 18 financial Y/E. He also reiterated no fund raise (caveat: as SoH has said previously the only time a raise would be considered is for another opportunity like SBTX - nothing planned).

He spoke about a new LPL product launch in MAY in the US with an as yet unnamed US partner (he could not hide his excitement about this so could be a big deal IMO).

He spoke about new independent Slimbiome study conducted by Oxford Uni to be presented at Vita Foods Europe in May - with excellent findings in terms of weight loss, calorie reduction (20%) and reduced cravings for sugary and fatty foods

At the OPTI stand Christina was enthused by all round progress with Slimbiome, the products was very well received in the US at the recent trade show with CII. There was a small range of new products to sample - they look great, and more importantly taste great. Highly recommend the new gummies and new cranberry & coconut bar. The musli also looked good (no Sweetbiotix Samples yet).

At this point SoH retuned to the stand and he was keen to about we emphasise the Pharma aspect of the last two deals (trigen and fine foods), this is KEY it’s shows Pharma are getting serious about OPTI products, indeed the next few deals are LIKELY be with Pharma Co’s in the $blns (he could mean Mcap or Turnover - not sure - I didn’t ask to clarify) Caveat: SoH reminded us that there are no guarantees of course

I’ll post some more tomorrow but in summary I was blown away by the size and scale of deals they are working. It’s hard to wrap your head around to be honest. Suffice to say I’ve never been so excited and convinced that OPTI is destined for the VERY TOP.

Tyre fitted massive difference, just needs a few miles, get rid of bobbles and increase grip, last new front tyre nearly had me off, sideways slide scary stuff.

The front tyre was mot advisory, didn't read properly thought it strange because plenty of treat left, tyre was really uneven on closer look, gave the feel of dropping when turning at low speed, thought it was my riding, glad to get the replacement fitted, guess the other was for a sports bike, not good on heavier bikes.

probiotics holding up :)
