Yeah it does go down regular, but I created a watch list on lse years ago and tend to look in daily, I'm getting on with edge, disgrace that since XP Outlook Express is no longer accessible. Nice to hear your up a bit today :)

IMHO outlook is inferior to outlook express which is full page and clear view.

I know how to clear google stuff, but try and keep away these days, although maps and voice control are handy....

hi wooly i do use firefox on w 10 dont like edge dont know anybody that does, microsoft has said that to use outlook soon you will only be able to get it through edge because no one uses edge, thats a poor company that forces do people to do things like that.
wooly you can get rid of everything thats stored in google cant remember how its done now when done it stops advertisers dropping stuff on you.
this site is a good one to help with tech stuff

Morning humph, you can use firefox on windows 10, or chrome, but best to use the edge imo, its built in, google takes over, especially on mobiles, if you look in settings, its full of google this and that, not been able to login to my watchlist this morning on LSE, unsure how yours are going. Bike on hold give out rain most days in my area, four wheels for now. MP trust I agree they are increasing rates to cover tarmac roads, but they already had the money times over, I never vote because of issues' with MP's, when in power the opposition tells us everything is wrong with their plan, cant be trusted imho. Boils down to, no one is right when in power, according to all opposition parties, where does that leave voters, up a creek without a paddle, little like our ult shares paddleless lol.

yes wooly very happy about OPTI.
smith and bell dont need any more cash they had enough off us, and bell with his money laundering
wooly i only use firefox so dont know anything about w 10
best of luck on the bonny, another tax yes enjoyment tax, what annoys me about the tax wooly is it doesnt get spent what it meant to be spent insurance stamps road tax all gets spent on other countries aid or whatever they want to call it, mp's spend years learning how to tell lies without it showing on there faces, the police spend years how to detect face movments etc to see if people are telling lies, even they cant tell if MP'S are lying, so what chance have we got

OptiBiotix Health plc

("OptiBiotix" or the "Company")

New patent filings: SweetBiotix(R)

OptiBiotix Health plc (AIM: OPTI), a life sciences business developing compounds to tackle obesity, high cholesterol, diabetes and skin care, announces three new patent filings. These filings protect the production methods and product application areas arising from OptiBiotix's SweetBiotix(R) product development programmes. These include:-

1. Natural high intensity sweeteners with improved flavour profile and microbiome modulating functionality. Human studies (announced 11 July 2017) have demonstrated these have a good flavour profile and sweetness of between 140X and 223X of sucrose at equivalent concentrations.

2. Sweet natural healthy fibres being developed as potential bulk sugar replacements which are not digested in the human gut, and hence calorie free. Human studies (announced 23 January 2018) have demonstrated these sweet fibres had the highest sweetness and lowest off-flavours when compared to a wide range of existing sugars and fibres and sucrose.

These patent filings follow on from a total of five successful independent human studies in which OptiBiotix's products and comparator samples were tested by an expert panel of 11 panellists who rated 11 products attributes (e.g sweetness, aftertaste, off- flavour, bitterness etc) compared to sucrose.

The Company believes that these patent filings add a further layer of protection to its intellectual property portfolio, create a highly valuable asset and broaden the number of product application and partnering opportunities. These now include use as a sweetener and/or functional food ingredient for foods, beverages, cereals, breaded products, dairy products, and incorporation into confectionary, snacks, and meals, or use as a standalone sweetener product.

Given that the global sweetener market, currently dominated by sugar, is forecast to reach $112bn by 2022 (Mordor Intelligence, 2017), the Company believes filing these additional patents will help protect its inventions and fully exploit the commercial opportunities being explored with industry partners.

Stephen O'Hara, CEO of OptiBiotix, commented: "We are pleased to announce the filing of these patents which add a further level of protection and value to our SweetBiotix(R) product development programmes. Given the scale of the opportunity and the high level of interest we have seen from multiple corporate partners, these flings help protect OptiBiotix's valuable inventions and broaden the number of product application opportunities. With growing concerns over traditional sugars and artificial sweeteners, SweetBiotix(R) has the potential to address a global consumer and industry need, addressing international concerns over the impact of sugar on obesity, with the prospect of replacing 'unhealthy' sugars in existing products with non-digestible, low calorie, healthy, SweetBiotix.(R)"

Free way to go humph :)

Windows 10 does take control but the browser works well along with voice command, suppose google as bad, maybe worse, it takes over dominates settings in mobile phones.

Why they unsupported Outlook Express I'll never know, it the clearest best imo.

My last lappy Samsung with windows 7, took it off and installed windows XP pro, the best imo, unfortunately they are making it difficult to continue using XP, especially Google Chrome, no longer supports it, shouts each time loaded.

Good luck when s/m opens.

hi wooly i am waiting for the SWEETBIOTIX to be floated i want shares in that without a doubt, i havnt any in SKIN but we will be getting free shares in skin some time in the future as a bonus for holding OPTI long term, OPTI holds a 49% stake in SKIN the revenue from SKIN drops straight to OPTI'S bottom line, because OPTI costs very little to run.
so wooly your laptop working out ok then what do you think of windows 10?, i cant stand windows edge, microsoft are going to make it that you cant use outlook without you go through edge, because almost everyone uses other browsers, what a shower you would have thought a company like microsoft would be able to blow the competition away

hi wooly another little read about OPTI

OptiBiotix Health plc (AIM: OPTI), a life sciences business developing compounds to tackle obesity, high cholesterol, diabetes and skin care, provides the following scientific and commercial update on its technology and products. The Company is developing technology and products in the microbiome space, a market growing at 22.3% per year, and described by health experts as "healthcare's most promising and lucrative frontier" (Markets and Markets).

The Company is building value within each of its three divisions leveraging the uniqueness of its technology to commercialise food ingredients and products so that each division becomes profitable and self-sustainable. Per Rehne is leading the commercialisation of LP(LDL) (R), whilst Christina Wood is leading the commercialisation of SlimBiome(R). The overall aim is for divisions to become separate profitable legal entities which, if appropriate, may be taken to the public markets as a separate listing. The following sections provide a scientific and commercial update for each division.

OptiBiome(R) (SlimBiome(R), CardioBiome, ImmunoBiome, WellBiome(R) and PsychoBiome)

Christina Wood has made strong progress since commencing her role as Sales and Marketing Director in March 2017. Christina has been working with manufacturers, application developers, and retailers to expand the range of application opportunities. SlimBiome(R) has now been developed with a number of partners into breaded products, biscuits, dairy, gummies (children's products), muesli pots, porridge pots, healthy snacks such as yoghurt coated fruits, and a range of cereals in puff, flakes, and crisp format. As we formalise our relationship with partners for other applications we anticipate a growing deal pipeline.

This creates a wide range of revenue generating opportunities and the potential to either extend the GoFigure range of online products or create a 'health and wellbeing' own label brand for one of the major supermarkets. Late stage discussion are currently ongoing with three supermarkets.

The Company is extending its OptiBiome(R) range beyond weight management (SlimBiome(R)), to include cardiovascular health (CardioBiome(R)), immune health (ImmunoBiome(R)), cognitive health (PsychoBiome), and general health (WellBiome(R)) which will further extend the range of product opportunities.

LP(LDL) (R)

Per Rehne has been working with manufacturers, formulation and distribution partners to develop around 30 formulations of LP(LDL) (R) which have the science, cost structure, and synergistic mode of action to create a wide product range (consistent with our intel inside model). This approach allows OptiBiotix to present product solutions to consumer health, pharmaceutical and retail companies which give us multiple revenue streams from ingredient sales, white label and own branded products. Investors will have seen from recent RNS releases the evolution from small privatelyowned pharma companies, who are quicker to execute agreements, to larger deals with GBP100m plus revenue companies like Fine Foods and Gallenicum. This division has a broad deal pipeline and we anticipate announcing further deals in the forthcoming months both for LP(LDL) (R) and new application areas.

The science behind OptiBiotix's LP(LDL) (R) product won best scientific publication at ProBiota 2017 and 2018. These awards raise OptiBiotix's profile and reputation, attract commercial interest in our technology and products, and provide the scientific evidence for sales and marketing literature in support of product commercialisation.

Online Store

The company is building its product portfolio with partners and is developing an online store to create a shop window for its technologies and products. This will sell GoFigure products, the wider range of SlimBiome products, and LP(LDL) (R) formulations, creating an additional revenue stream and the opportunity for direct market feedback from its customers. We expect this transition to be completed by the end of April with new product offerings being added to the online store on an ongoing basis. This is all part of a gradual transition of OptiBiotix from a research and development company to a commercial business. The overall aim is to build revenues within each division to between GBP5m-GBP10m per annum over the forthcoming years.

OptiBiotics(R), Microbiome Modulators and SweetBiotix(R)

The Company has made significant progress in its scientific programmes to develop compounds which modify the human microbiome to prevent, manage and treat disease, and create natural high intensity sweeteners and sweet healthy fibres (SweetBiotix(R)). Given the international interest in the microbiome and natural alternatives to sugar, the Company has carried out a total of five successful human taste studies on its SweetBiotix(R) product development programmes.

These studies have created interest from a number of corporates with expertise in the manufacture and commercialisation of speciality ingredients and/or consumer products. In March 2018 the Company met up with teams of scientists and senior executives from each of these companies. It was clear from our meetings that OptiBiotix are global leaders in targeted microbiome modulation and sweet prebiotics/fibres.

We are pleased to report that every company has expressed strong interest in partnering or investing in OptiBiotix to access our technology. This high level of interest now needs to be turned into tangible deals which, subject to any corporate confidentiality clauses, we can disclose to the market. Investors should be cautioned that negotiations with large corporate partners is a two-way process which has to fit into a corporate process and timescale and are often subject to stringent confidentiality clauses. However, it's clear that OptiBiotix is in the right space (microbiome, sweet fibres), and has a structured approach to development appealing to corporate partners, allowing it to attract the high level of interest from these global brands.

Stephen O'Hara, CEO of OptiBiotix, commented: "The Company believes it is making strong scientific and commercial progress across all its technology and product platforms. This has led to a number of deals with each division building a rich deal pipeline, which if successfully concluded, will lead to significant revenues in the months and years ahead. Industry interest is coming from national retailers and global corporates which have potential for significant upside given the scale of their market reach. We remain on track with our strategy of building multiple revenue streams from both consumer and pharmaceutical products across all our technology platforms."

hi wooly at least you can put your hands together and make good some probs, i remember years ago getting a wing for some motor cant think what it was now but it was an after market one and he holes didnt match up to the body when i went to bolt it on had to waste hours trying to file the holes out, i am not very practical with things like that, but give me an engine to strip down rebuild i would be in heaven, the merc wants an automatic gearbox oil and filter change its never been done 175,000 miles on the clock, but a common problem doing it is the bolts snap off when trying to get the sump off, and i dont feel that am able to drill out the bolt after if it does snap, so think i might just leave it

Collectively you have to wonder how much wealth transfer in the aim.Gaim - alone.

Clever ones are ripping it out.

Had problems fitting heated grips, had to make my own handlebar bracket, useless the supplied one, also getting the cable through without being under tension when turning.
