eastbourne1982: Debt is still down, the fund raising clearly played a big part however so what ? Cash flow was also decent. Share price is down 40% from where it was a year ago, to me this offers good value at these prices, what is your position ?

dodge meister: L-3 have stated that they are looking to procure companies in the UK and Ultra has been tipped. Bae however has also been tipped to take over L-3? On the current share price, cant see it being that attractive to L-3 when the rest of the big American corps (Lockhead, GD) pushing further into the UK defence market and using this as a base for exports havnt tried.
07:52 Among the premarket comments earlier: "..Recent share-price weakness provides a good opportunity to buy into defence group Ultra Electronics says the Telegraph. Ultra shares are trade on 17 times forecast earnings for the year falling to 15.7 times in 2007. This is not a bargain, but cash generative Ultra is worth backing..." wstirrup: Rhiannon.... I've loved the name ever since the mid-70's and FM gave voice to their music... all those who visit these pages...I am curious..WHAT is happening in the Defence world?..or is it all very HUSH HUSH?.... Surely with conflagration in the middle-east imminent..there's a few contracts being bandied about.. So...with that in mind, why the rise in the share price today to a mid price of 457.5? Surely it can't be the 20odd shares that the directors bought the other day? Curiouser..and curiouser.. Inside knowledge perhaps from the Ministry? Perish the thought that someone should use their inside knowledge to influence buying decisions on their behalf? W. (and for the record..I'm not a holder either..just a watcher from the sidelines...)
