The pattern of bigger trades had little to do with the uS market opening. These trades are held back for 3 hours due to their size and the aveage daily trade value. Even bigger trades are held back for longer (even into the next day and beyond)

Comment: Mr Lenigas has now enlightened investors on who may have been behind the buys/sells. Many investors had earlier said it was US buyers etc [or sells etc] but it was not accepted. There had been a pattern of bigger trades just when the US market opened.
