You seem like a decent bloke KK. There is a lot of history that goes with this company. I would suggest that you listen to the likes of HCA and Cyan before you consider buying back in. I wouldn't trust the management as far as I could throw them personally.

A few days ago at a bit of a loss, which was fine and part of the gamble. I'll wait for any news either way now. Still reckon there will be a spike, so getting back in might cost me, but they could also go a lot lower so a sensible approach now.

Thanks for the clarification on actual number of tanks; instead saying 80% drop is more accurate.

Why don't UKOG RNS such issues promptly? They are happy to issue a worthless Geothermal RNS with the moral boosting line; "UK Oil & Gas PLC (London AIM: UKOG) is pleased to announce...."

Isn't strange that UKOG RNS a no news article on the Geothermal association that they had already announced in the final results; YET do not RNS the VERY significant change in site storage and report these lines;

"..the Applicant needs to determine the character and nature of the crude oil and its flow. This will involve the production of a relatively small quantity of crude oil at surface."


More evidence of UKOG failing in their duty to RNS significant developments that may impact the share price.

i think the penny has finally dropped here cyan. the pro ukog are few and their posts are just noise and stupidity as they know the final game is coming.any normal person would have seen this self funding ego trip after the dreadful BB fiasco (some may say,as it cost holders years,cash, nothing short of criminal )and fled. it's been entertaining but nothing as funny as the ramp days of amr,gismo,ray,MM etc. in my opinion it will be remembered as just another Aim casino scam stock.

Very good links regarding the large drop in storage required on site.
More evidence to suggest future production will be very much lower.

Your links also helps to explain the huge write down of HH1 as reported in 16th April 2021 final results RNS;

"The Directors have carried out an impairment review as at 30 September 2020. The Directors determined that the net present value of the HH-1 well was £4.78 million and therefore determined that HH-1 should be impaired by £9.35 million. The net present value utilised an internally generated depletion curve that was independently reviewed."

That depletion curve must have looked pretty poor

Other earlier lines gave an estimate of the volume of recoverable oil;

"For guidance purposes only, the Company's qualified persons ("QP") consider that the 1C value of 0.6 mmbbl carried for Horse Hill in Table 3, below, provides a reasonably representative view of HH-1's likely technical recoverable Portland reserves at the end of 2020. "

600,000 barrels "technical recoverable" Portland reserves. That's rather modest.

This line from the drill or drop article reinforces the conclusion that all is not well;

"As part of the changes, HHDL said it was reducing the number of crude oil storage tanks at Horse Hill from eight to one."

It is not the content of the posts it is for the person. We all know who they are don't we. 22nd May is day 60 I think. That was the original expectation. It is Ramadan until the 12th May. They will lose at least a day for EID.
