So it's all part of the plan. Why did UKOG buy the share of the Weald that the other partners were getting rid of? Bloody funny plan , sounds more like Q Anon.

In fact ADH is proving to be very smart as Chairman. He let Sanderson out on a rope knowing his efforts would achieve little, partly due to uk regulation and also due to Sanderson's overconfidence.
YOU've Got us into this mess and NOW I'm going to get you out says ADH ASSUREDLY. Really can it get better - investors may have a lot to be grateful for whatever the terms of the placing. There really is light! For heavens sake let's raise much as we can, let the share limp a little longer and follow ADH.

As non Exec chairman what else could he do - firing Sanderson would have been too political.
No, he played safe by rattling the tree and proving UK was a dodo.
He understands US CULTURE and LETS DO IT so AME is a good fit with whom he can work easily. He probably already knows the boys very well.
Yes 3 years down, can't get a lot worse, so let's see what he can achieve in 6 months with AME whether you like it or otherwise. This seems to be best news in years and Sanderson has really got to impress ADH and investors.
See the small UK sub ALADDIN MIDDLE EAST (UK) Ltd also.

ADH was brought in for a purpose, not to fiddle about with UK I feel sure. Quite likely he came up with Turkey and if he is a big hitter he'll want more than a bit of work in Turkey before he departs.

ocelot on lse is getting really desperate if he is taking any notice of fruit loops on here. That page on AME website is about as up to date as some of the pages on the UKOG website are.

A post by lopodop on a rival site pointed me to this extract from AME's Company Overview on its website and, in particular, the last few words:

The Future of Aladdin Middle East
Going forward, we aim to build upon past success, acquiring more leases, drilling more wells, producing in larger quantities and adding value for our investors. AME is striving to be an integral part of what we believe to be a transformative moment in Turkey’s oil and gas industry as new techniques and a reinvigorated desire for exploration help to unleash Turkey’s full hydrocarbon potential. The company aims to expand in the near abroad. As a part of this process we will continue to add to our assets and infrastructure and hopefully, one day soon, take the step of becoming a publicly traded company.

I and others it seems have started to build stakes in UKOG. Drilling in Turkey will commence soon, in an area that has already flowed oil.

See the UKOG Turkey Presentation dated 20/1/2021:

and Press Release on License agreement completion:

with possibly another three licenses to follow, so plenty to go for.
