Is this the best the spooking smack head derampers can do? nearly 1pm and the best is oscillating between breakeven and -5%. If you put your shorting money in it, you won't even off-set the spread

This is fun. Noticeable new deramper turns up few days before RNS to raise red flag over share. It is almost as if that person, tracable through ADVFN server back to an IP address through the ISP and cross-referenced with other internet traffic and activity can be pinned down to an address, knew in advance what was going on. It is as if they had inside information directly from the lending parties concerned and therefore were able to set up a short position in advance. Then deramp as hard as possible to maximize gain.

Of course it could just have been a lucky guess. Well, the individual and the team concerned are traceable and we will not doubt here in due course what the investigating officers have to say following the arrests.

Oh yes, didn't you know, insider dealing is illegal and the FCA is acutely aware of its reputation and of AIM's and has a special task force working on getting some arrests and prosecutions of this type of activity. Low hanging fruit in my opinion.

Stockbroker SVS Securities collapses into administration

SVS Securities collapsed into administration after being investigated by City watchdog the Financial Conduct Authority
Traders face being locked out of their accounts for months after stockbroker SVS Securities collapsed into administration following a City watchdog investigation.

Customers will now be unable to buy and sell shares or pull money out, until administrators Leonard Curtis have confirmed its books are in order.

Clients' money and shares will be returned to them, and will not be used to pay off any SVS debts, Leonard Curtis said.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) emphasised that, should customers suffer any shortfall due to wrongdoing or poor accounting at SVS, the Financial Services Compensation Scheme will cover losses up to £85,000.
