We've got a good 30+ entries for the sweepstake and with only two or three wet blankets among the board regulars not prepared to put their necks on the line, I think the time has come to close the sweepstake to new entrants. I'll put up the final list in a few minutes.

Would be interesting to compare the predictions received for BB last year, with this latest set for the gusher. It seems (from memory), that this latest set are less fantastical than previous. Maybe people are learning to temper their expectations?

I bet actual flows still come in toward the lower end of that range, mind. I've been over optimistic with both BB and Portland. I wonder whether 56 will prove to be over optimistic?

gizmogizmo, markfrankie ... oh and bobdown2 of course, the clock's ticking fast to cut-off time now.

Last chance for you or anyone else to get their entries in.

So if we have first flows from short duration tests with pressure build up periods, and they need a tankers already, that must mean the continuous flow tests are going to exceed storage capacity even with the extra tank, by some margin since they can not have tanker collections every couple of hours throughout the night. Tests will have to be incomplete again although the results will be way in excess of any original prediction again. In a fair market, the knowledge of the play down to BB should then be factored into the valuation. But I suspect we will not see that on AIM, probably crash 0.5p for every multiple above expectation until the share price is showing something like -2.9p!

Kimmeridge Sweepstake update:

I'll have to close this to new entrants soon with events at HH beginning to hot up. I see just a few board regulars - amr, Gismo, gizmogizmo, markfrankie - have been posting but have not yet thrown their hats into the ring.

I shouldn't imagine they're wimping out, so on the chance one or more of them has me filtered, could an unfiltered poster repost this message to give them an opportunity to enter.

+ Winner will be nearest to the combined total bopd flow (actual, not conceptual) from the KL3 and KL4 levels, which together totalled 1,365 bopd in the initial flow tests in 2016.

It looks to me the Government is getting involve and making sure UKOG gets the backing it needs.

It's about time. PM making sure the country gets what it needs.
