27/6/2017 14:53 | UKOG about to go blue!! Consolidation over and onto the next leg up to 3-4p levels. Further news due anytime as we get closer to T/D and hit further zones | timw3

27/6/2017 14:44 | Very true have visited the Witch Farm site many times and never could find it | markycrispy
27/6/2017 14:25 | IF--and it is still a big IF----the results here mean a very large reservoir of light crude, then the powers that be would be well advised to appreciate the potential to the UK economy and stop dragging their feet. There will be NO harm to the environment and little chance of much to see at the drill sites. I harp back to comments I have made before about Wyche Farm in Poole---been there since the 1960´s, few even know that it is there and it was the largest land based oil field in the UK and this could trump that. So all I ask is that IF this is as big as expected and can be got out in large numbers why would the Govt not be encouraging agencies to rubber stamp all permits asap. Jobs, tax, and revenue for all of us and the govt. | mikeygit
27/6/2017 14:19 | Thanks FORWOOD---Others be warned!!! | mikeygit
27/6/2017 14:06 | Ps and with permit approval expected mid July for Horse Hill's eagerly awaited extended flowtests.....Ukog's future is looking very bright....undoubted transformational upside potential ahead. Gl;-) | moneymunch
27/6/2017 13:58 | Tidy2...confirmation of Discovery news of Ukog's expectations...ie 30km radius 700ft thick will see the share price push through 3p and on to 4p imho....TD is expected this week and so full results dependant on how long the core analysis takes to come back....Ukog have already stated that they expect flow tests to start 2nd half of July and so EA flowtest permit Rns imminent....the flow test are licensed for up to 14 weeks....and it will be on confirmation of how much oil is free flowing that will result in any potential transformational upside....if the flow test confirm that the oil is high quality, and is free flowing in commercial volumes then Ukog could be sitting on tens of millions of barrels recoverable, and at estimated $21 extraction, the gross returns to Ukog at £45 a barrel, plus an extra $3 a barrel on high quality oil....then without a doubt...Ukog would move from small cap explorer to mid cap producer with resources that most Majors would give their right arms for, and Ukog's market cap would be several hundred million and more....Gl Tick Tock!!! :-) | moneymunch

27/6/2017 13:28 | 8471 That is the best post that I have read on any BB in years. Thank you. | jimmyloser
27/6/2017 13:20 | So the news is in, and the BB has gone nuts. But the news wasn't empirical in any way just an observation of lots of oil show and gas coming from the bore. Clearly something very interesting but by no means definitive. Everyone fills the gaps in data with their own spin. The drill continues and between now and September there will be more observations as news and more importantly more detailed data becomes available. The BB rages with debate, most of it uninformed, plenty of it downright unpleasant. Lakes of oil are discussed, and dismissed. As yet it hasn't descended into the fantasy that certain experts built around GKP.Welcome to the jungle! Remember no one knows for sure what the answer is, or when the next release of news is coming. Those that claim to know are liars. All that said, as a bet this has some merit! Note I say bet not investment. | paddyfool
27/6/2017 13:12 | Does any one have a rough idea on how long it will take to get down to these depths The plan is now to core the KL3 target zone and then continue to drill 8 1/2 " diameter hole at a constant inclination of 54 degrees to vertical to total depth. Further core may be taken in KL2. The planned overall horizontal deviation of the well is approximately 1 km. The Kimmeridge Limestones (KL 1 to KL4) are expected to be encountered at a drilled depth of approximately 1250-1700 metres, which equates to around 950-1200 metres vertically below the surface | aussieb3
27/6/2017 13:11 | Money munch. The cap is only £65m now. If the pay zone extends down 700 feet and 30km radius what are you thinking Mcap wise? That's a huge volume. | tidy 2
27/6/2017 13:07 | I think MMs will keep it here until next RNS (90% chance of more good news), just like the two artificial "support" points we had before last Friday. Not complaining, much better than down! | activeservo
27/6/2017 12:59 | Momentum and excitement building Mikey...we know that they will be coring the 2nd limestone zone by now and Target depth expected this week....and so we could get another update on the next core, confirming more oil and a continuation of naturally fractured shale as well as the limestones, which would confirm that the limestones are connected vertically through the fractured shale and therefore the market will know the exact figure for the thickness of the net oil play which could be up to 700ft thick....the expected Discovery Rns should take the market by storm again and given plenty of press coverage given its potential national significance....conf | moneymunch
27/6/2017 12:32 | LOndon South East up the shoot again---they really do need to sort their web site!! Here I believe we are taking a reign check before it takes off again when we get more OIL news!! | mikeygit
27/6/2017 12:20 | Why would UKOG need to have a placing now? I don't get why some posters are even mentioning this? | cpap man
