The drilldropp story focused on no RNS stating an application had NOT been made yet. In journalism, that is one way of getting a story out based on leaked information. i.e.

"an application has been made and you heard it here first; but we just couldn't say it outright since there had not been a formal announcement; look what clever people we are;"

My money is therefore on application made for next step to commercial production at MWW and it is potentially bigger due to new knowledge gained from BB tests.

Back to 8p within a few weeks before final report, then onto 30p

Oh dear WTD throws the towel in as soon as his attempt at rational argument is challenged and reverts to normal moron service. Such a shame that there is not a single bull on this board who can put forward a coherent bull case. I was reading that in the last 30 yrs a few if not a lot of companies are awarding their ceos options that expire only for them to be repeated again, these options arent based on performance but simply a way for a ceo to make money at the pis expense.all they have to do is have a public listed company and exercise options and it makes the ceo a rich man very quickly. as they sell up almost instantly after it.

a genuine good company has a few traits.

1. the ceo only earns options based on performance of the profits of the company, they have end dates and cant be renewed.

2, the ceo has a large personal stake in the stock, not just a token 1% but a large 10% bought with his/her own cash at market price.

3, if the company is in a loss making position the ceo takes a very large wage cut

Is that not why there is an option scheme for him when out of the closed period? A slight but interesting point, at what point in saying £600,000 a year does it make at true? Over the last six months i have seen this figure many times but never corroborated with a self assessment form. I thought his basic was circa £230,000 but then again i too am making it up.

Communication with this company has been scandalous but if oil comes out of the ground no one will care unless they have ideological opposition to drilling for oil in the Weald. An opinion i disagree with but do respect

Think it wise to read and let all sides of viewpoints be understood, many a PI been shafted on AIM. they just wont hear any other viewpoint whicj is so very very dangerous , nothing wrong with being wrong an cutting losses....its called manning up , or in todAYS flavour of being ever so nice and correct with females femanning up
