08/11/2017 09:50 | The 16th October RNS reads to me that the first thing they have to do is "the current completion assembly will be removed". They then go on to focus on a more "finely focussed and optimal test plan", giving three bullet point operations. Clearly then the completion assembly needs to be removed and that's what's been going on for nearly 3 weeks now with the two cranes on site and reports of a snubbing unit to remove the pipes. However this seems like a very very long time. Snubbing units can pull pipes at up to 1000ft/hour. The well is 5800ft deep. There really should be an RNS with an operational update. The only reason I can think of is that there are problems and they are trying to keep it under wraps until they can fix it. Same happened with the side track remember? Upon delivery of further testing equipment, scheduled for the end of this week, the current completion assembly will be removed and, as previously announced, a more finely focussed and optimal test plan implemented. The planned programme is as follows: · Firstly, proceed ahead to isolate, acid-wash and sequentially flow test multiple 30-100 ft existing perforated zones in the naturally-fractured KL1-KL4, and then; · Perforate further naturally-fractured limestone reservoir zones in the KL1, KL2 and KL3, isolate, acid-wash and sequentially flow test multiple 30-100 ft zones, and finally; · Conduct a short cement squeeze in a section of the KL4/KL5, run a new cement bond log, re-perforate the newly cemented section, isolate, acid wash, and sequentially flow test multiple 30-50 ft zones. · Flow will be initiated throughout the programme via the use of nitrogen-lift (without coil tubing), swabbing and/or pumping via the existing high-capacity linear rod pump | loglorry1

08/11/2017 09:31 | of note hazel, KL5 was one of the two zones require the cement squeeze. I wonder if the hadn't perforated that zone whether there would be any issues and whether the final report might say the 'new' zone will be untapped for technical reasons. However, if there is a connection between the planned zones and the new zones, the new zone oil should be recoverable from the planned zones. Other wells at BB and other locations might be able to extract straight from KL5. It is the final flow number that is important rather than the engineering at the end of the day. | whattheduce
08/11/2017 09:19 | WTD.morning. you've just shot your own foot! Do you believe the spooks and actually act on their claims? (Hey! Do ANY of you believe in spooks? 08/11/2017 09:15 | The perforated section spans eight naturally fractured Kimmeridge Limestone and interbedded shale reservoir units, with a total aggregate perforated section of 1,064 ft. Further to previous announcements, the perforated section was increased to include a further naturally fractured reservoir zone, designated KL5, where mobile, light oil was recovered to surface from core. | hazelst
