30/8/2017 14:29 | Despite reading through all the posts I am no wiser as to what people think the current delay is all about. We had the operational update suggesting the new side track well was ready for testing but that was three weeks ago now. Why the delay? | forwood
30/8/2017 14:25 | That's still waiting for a decision to be made to allow them to keep the fence up and all the cabins. If they say no then that's the beginning of the end???? Thoughts | stock devil

30/8/2017 14:03 | The application is for Amendment of Condition no.2 of planning permission ref: WSCC/037/14/WC to allow for the retention of security fencing, gates & cabins for a further 12 month Just means they want to keep the site secure for another 12 months. Doesn't mean a lot in my view. | loglorry1

30/8/2017 13:25 | WTD---agree what you say about protestors---do not know how many are there but reports say just a small handful!! They have no real interest in the environment, just look at the way they built a huge tower out of pallet's and the security company had to spend money taking it down and filling in their tunnels. Good points made about flow of lorries, surely we have peeps on the ground able to monitor whether there is now an increase in traffic flow in/out of the site, which would indicate something going on?? | mikeygit

30/8/2017 12:14 | As well as engaging in a bit of lorry spotting, keep your eyes peeled for any chauffeur driven cars. It could be a rep from a major or board member from a major checking out the asset before making an offer. Since there seems to have been a board meeting held on site the other week (now revealed to sign off the HH stake purchase) I suspect they have the facilities to entertain VIPs. Those protestors will hopefully get us some good info on that, by-the-way, how much are we paying the protestors for all the info they are feeding us or are they doing it for free? | whattheduce
30/8/2017 12:10 | I'll look out for it forwood...:-) Ps simonsaid, no doubt Ukog will be in full focus here on the next update...... unlike Lse, Advfn has no administrator looking in to police and remove offensive posts etc, and so it's usually down to the thread creator , in this case forwood, to moderate where he sees fit, but he's been away on holiday for a couple of weeks and so the thread content got out of hand somewhat and you're just catching the aftermath as it subsides....although generally the content of the posts on Advfn can be much more cut and thrust than Lse....as free speech rules to an extent which is fine by me, as long as it's not too personally offensive and excessive. Gl ;-) | moneymunch
30/8/2017 12:05 | I wish there was an 'Ad Hom' tag that could be applied and used as a filter! On a more practical level, what I'm looking for site-wise is: Lorries, and lots of them. The waste management plan indicates approximately 50 lorries are involved in moving the rig, in a process taking 4 days. During this time we will see mainly conventional lorries, with a small number of flatbeds carrying abnormal loads (the real giveaway as these will be sections of the mast, presumably). The drillpipe leaving and tanker activity spotted thus far may well mean drilling and perforation are complete (re: the tankers, spent acidisation fluids being removed seems likely). The tankers so far have not have the correct hazard plates for oil, but that's another thing to watch out for. The protestors' videos showing HGVs around the site should all be closely watched for the giveaway hazard plates, which will clue us in as to the stage things are at on-site. | simonsaid1
30/8/2017 11:58 | Simon - yes, plenty of info 🙇 just look for posts avoiding "ad hominem" attacks 👍😉 | atino |
