I've got loads from the earliest Lupus days plus the Greg Hutchings Rights Issues.

The Times' 'Tempus' today has written them up as 'avoid' on grounds of high debt and risks to growth but they are on a pretty undemanding PER and pay a good divi, so that suits me. I'll be holding on.

Not quite sure what drives this now. Building materials sector? American housing market? £/$ exchange rate?

I have seen this expression used a number of times recently can only suggest it is a requirement by the RNS or LSE - confusing!

Fair enough TU this morning. However, the bit that intrigued me was - "This trading update contains inside information". Eh? I've never seen that before and what does it actually mean? Once it's published, it's no longer inside information. Who's it aimed at?

Doesn't yet seem to be feeling the exchange rate benefits experienced by other companies with big $ exposure.

It was ever thus. I return to being happy about my recent 230p investment just before the referendum :)

I sold a few in December at almost £3 , and bought a few back the other morning at 230 , although if I'd just held on to the shedload I used to have rather than selling to buy other more speculative investments I would now be 300% better off, so that small move the other day is only really a minor victory - but a nice feeling nevertheless. My heritage, as I may have mentioned before, goes back to Oceonics in 1995. The dividends have more than covered the original investments.

Jeffian Good to hear from you.

Me too but sold out over the last 12 months as felt they were struggling for growth although they continue to be a consolidator and you have a hell of a yield on your cost price. It is a cyclical business to a fair degree, at this level they seem to be reasonably priced with a decent dividend, the gearing is on the high side for my liking but happy to trade them although liquidity is limited.

Yep, I'm still here. One of my bigger holdings, actually, due to picking up shedloads at pennies in the (pre-Greg) Lupus Capital days, so it rather happened by default.

Are there any old Tymaners (stet)still holders or interested in this company, I seem to be talking to myself! I sold out in March and ventured back in this week at 234.
Jeffian and Strangeman are you still interested.

Big fall on small volume, Standard Life seller lurking in the background.
If they keep going down at this rate there should be a buying opportunity with over 70% business in USA weak sterling makes them more attractive.

Poor results, EPS up but how much is from forex, most of itUK and Europe revenues well down, US up but significant forex benefit helping numbers from my take of it Big positive acquisition however debt is getting large .... less room for slip ups

Interesting that the share price has been recovering quite well in the run-up to results on 8 March, despite a profit warning last November. Maybe things aren't as bad as they thought or it could just be the benign impact of weakening £ vs $.

Bad news coming? This really seems to be a very volatile share, but this morning looks like total sells.

Would say trade is not great and that going into next year is going to be tougher than expected, perhaps monitor on a 3 months view, I will !
