04/12/2010 09:36 | Still thinking about buying! Had these in the glory days, but this is probably the time to be buying with a seemingly workable partnership now moving along and the business model tuned to gain the most from its core applications. | ![]() bashers2

01/12/2010 09:26 | This share looks to be definitely out of market favour at the moment, an excellent RNS about the company spreading it's wings and a 3% upgrade, but no interest.;-( | ![]() jab118
28/11/2010 17:23 | I have been instructed by a colleague to buy a fair few of these for tomorrow and have also been on the phone over the weekend promoting this company. | ![]() jab118

26/11/2010 21:08 | Hi bashers you back in yet, my friend ? I really believe and see that TPS has shaken out the dead wood here and have had the opportunity with the backing of TOA to take this company forward and establish a good slice of the world market share in their line of products, seems to me that is exactly what they are doing, proven in the lastest ACCs since the beginning of the year and not many investors have noticed as yet ;-) How will fiscal austerity affect the market? Following the Emergency Budget in June, investors were nervous about the impact of the Comprehensive Spending Review. Fears were focused on outsourcing and infrastructure companies, given the risk that the spending squeeze will hit new capital expenditure and, in turn, earnings. In fact, the cuts revealed were not as bad as the market expected, which should be good news for companies exposed to these areas. Of course spending cuts will have an impact, and for businesses there will be both winners and losers. However, though public spending in real terms is set to fall, the efficiency reviews that will undoubtedly follow will present opportunities for smaller, leaner and meaner companies to win new business. | ![]() jab118
26/11/2010 12:44 | Jim Vickerman, was appointed interim chief executive officer when previous incumbent Paul Summers resigned in October.;-) I see Jim, could well be a valuable asset as well... ;-) | ![]() jab118
26/11/2010 11:11 | Sales rise and loan gives Turbo a boost Nov 19 2010 by John Hill, The Journal INNOVATIVE electronics company Turbo Power Systems is set to grow after winning a £6.5m investment from Brazil and seeing its sales soar by more than half this year. The Gateshead company, which designs and makes motors, generators and electronics for the transport, defence, industrial and renewable energy sectors, saw revenues jump to £6.14m in the first nine months of the year, from £4.7m a year ago. It is leading development of power supplies for renewable energy generators and is poised to grow after winning a £6.5m investment from Brazil-based TAO Sustainable Power Solutions (UK), in exchange for a 75.4% equity stake. TAO also provided a £1.9m loan facility in October, giving Turbo Power Systems greater access to working capital funding and more scope to increase its research and development. Following the June investment, three board members including chairman Graham Thornton were replaced by three TAO appointments, and one of these, Jim Vickerman, was appointed interim chief executive officer when previous incumbent Paul Summers resigned in October. James Pessoa, the new chairman, said he is "confident that the recent investment funds provide a sound base for the continued development of the company on a sustainable basis". He added: "As planned, the company has commenced increasing its development activities and investment | ![]() jab118
26/11/2010 10:57 | I see we have a new chairman, must admit I lost touch a bit recently. I like this bit ! James Pessoa, Chairman, said: "During the past quarter the Company has made good progress in starting to explore the opportunities provided by the strategic investment by TAO in June 2010. As planned, the Company has commenced increasing its development activities and investment in future capability. Since the quarter end TAO has provided additional support to the Company through a secured loan, enabling the Company to settle overdue debts and significantly reduce its creditor exposure, positioning itself for growth of the business. As the recently appointed Chairman of the Company, I have been impressed by the technical ability that the Company provides and its ability to deliver to its customer base, and I am confident that the recent investment funds provide a sound base for the continued development of the Company on a sustainable basis." | ![]() jab118
26/11/2010 10:34 | Bashers2 I know they have been out of favour with a this share dilution regarding the warrants back in the Spring but after reading their last ACCs over the last few days, studying what theirs sells have been recently, they really seem to be getting their act together. Like discussing with my broker yesterday, they have great little versatile products and it's only a matter of time before they start selling them big time, but it looks to me it has started..;-) nibble away basher, because if you and I are thinking the same, then there will be hundreds of thinking the same. I bought a big 500,000 yesterday, that was a big bite in my book for am AIM stock, don't do that often my previous purchase was just a mere punt ;-) We both know how quick this share can move, but I would be happier with a steady climb jab | ![]() jab118
