Posted at 23/4/2024 05:10 by dudishes Zero, you asked me about news, you were maybe looking at TUN Plymouth, unknown!Understand that you could not find TUN. Look Hemerdon Heights Mining, more news for you there. Herald. Yes, the Co. is just ticking, awaiting EA approval. You say just two cars at site, double what it was with the watchman previous. Just the one. The same man before and after WOLF! I bailed at 6p, but watching, this could be large, not at current price, its ramped at the moment. One hurdle and you are in the money. Keep an eye on local news, get one ahead of those that ignore the locals eh? |
Posted at 09/4/2024 08:14 by seedoftongo Money flowing out of CUSN and into TUN😂😂 |
Posted at 08/4/2024 19:35 by seedoftongo This the first profit on ADVFN milling stone lad ?The tactic to pick a lot that have flat lined hoping to get lucky on one or two ? Will TUN surpass CUSN . Devon v Cornwall Zeros Cream tea sippers v Ron’s pasty crunchers |
Posted at 06/4/2024 13:37 by dudishes Seed, I know of no so called leader.CUSN I shorted 20 to 10, done now. TUN probably more to do with local press. The guys in the Duchy are not afraid of hard work. DYOR |
Posted at 06/4/2024 11:30 by seedoftongo You have just made an enemy in Ron’s pasty crunchers ( Cusn ).Cusn v Tun Ron , if you didn’t know is their cross dressing leader . Nothing wrong with that I must add. He shouldn’t hide it . Who is the leader on here ?? |
Posted at 05/4/2024 14:41 by dudishes G'day Seed,Neither I or nephew are selling. It is surely a punt, but if mining cleared, it is mega bucks. History, suggested by a friend is that as soon as TUN get to mining, the Chinese will drop their price. I disagree as I'm sure others will. WOLF failed because they bought duff gear, the noise issue also went against them. The issue with 50/150 lorries is no different to the current issue with traffic in that particular zone. I believe 5 industrial estates in that area, all coping with the public happily. I think they call it employment! Game on? |
Posted at 05/4/2024 14:12 by dudishes Hi the Count and JakNife.Price doubled, I'm guessing the large print up by Plymouth Herald. There was nothing in that print different from Co. announcement. Seems to have stoked the fires anyway. I have been in contact with a friend that supplied WOLF. To be honest, he is very anti TUN, I am not sure why, maybe his contract went elsewhere? I know his Co. lost £20K+ with WOLF going bust. I'll challenge him with todays price, doubled for some of us! We are not selling. cheers |
Posted at 24/9/2023 14:50 by dudishes TUN application DCC/4365/2023 (unlimited approved route usage). The application is to allow unlimited HGV movement through the local designated roads, currently restricted to 50 trips per day The local Councillor, Mr Patrick Nicholson JP has lobbied locals in order to register their objection, he has massive support, therefore guess the application will most probably fail (or possibly an amended version) may succeed? I say maybe, as our Nephew & Wife live close to the route, but unaffected by increased transport (It's busy already, a few more HGVs will not make much difference). The kids will not object. My wife and I own the house, but left the decision to the kids. PS:- As with other locals, they know when to avoid the busy times! I still have my doubts regarding TUN survival, but WO3 rather important, as is the employment aspect. cheers |
Posted at 07/6/2023 16:14 by golden prospect Tungsten West to axe almost half its workforce at Plymouth mine7th June 2023 Truly a sad story from Wolf Minerals to Tungsten West. It's unbelievable that TUN have nearly chewed through the 2021 equity fundraise of £39 million |
Posted at 31/10/2022 21:44 by rambutan2 Well, even more recent (un)welcome Government announcements have made the trading statement of 3 weeks ago rather outdated:Mark Thompson, Executive Vice-Chairman, said: " Recent Government policy announcements have included some welcome news for Tungsten West. The energy cap for businesses provides certainty over power costs for this winter and the reversion to a Corporation Tax rate of 19% is good news for shareholders. The announced intention to streamline planning requirements for the installation of renewables was of particularly interest as we have an ambition to be a sustainable and ethical UK mine and this assists in the commercial case for building our own solar and wind capacity. Tungsten West is a nationally, even internationally, important mining project given China's dominance in this critical metal and the need for tungsten in the green energy transition: a planning system that supports domestic supply chains is good news for the manufacturing industry in the UK. We also noted the announcements on investment zones. If Devon were to become one of the new investment zones then alongside the already granted free-port status for Plymouth there is a real opportunity to boost economic growth in the County, with Tungsten West at the forefront. Mining is an inherently risky and volatile industry in which to invest, so therefore the cancellation of the planned corporation tax rise enhances the investment case in Tungsten West, de-risks the project and should lower our cost of capital. This supports our plan to proceed with creating the 250 direct jobs and an anticipated 1,500 indirect jobs through the supply chain to Hemerdon." |
