The company will instead trade on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, please note this is not an eligible option for your account. You may continue to trade the shares prior to the cancellation date. Please note that as per page 17 of the document, any holdings remaining after the cancellation date will be sold with the proceeds, less costs, expected to be credited on or before 12th July 2024. I didn't know, so now I am obliged to sell |
Posted at 09/8/2023 07:38 by brut winky End of the day the market is efficient and the result are a lot better, but not brilliant. Needs something else, give it a couple of days and they will drop what ever it is, one, two and maybe more hotels being being offloaded.Looks like they might achieve £200+ FCF, that give a bit of upside yet, next year could be double that £10+, but as always anything could happen and if they're planning a placing they would need £10, but lets be right, anything is possible when the Russian baddy still hold 10%. Not very inspiring given they're in profit, maybe politics has driven everyone away other than sophisticated investors manipulating the share price |

Posted at 10/5/2023 13:31 by master rsi TUI falls after results but analysts see 'window of opportunity' for sharesProactive Investors - Shares in TUI (LON:TUIT) fell 4% to 539p after the tour operator shrank its loss not quite as much as expected, but said booking trends were strong and average selling prices for summer improving. Operating losses of €242mln for the second quarter to 31 March were down 26.5% on the same period a year earlier but slightly bigger than the €236mln loss the City expected. Net debt was €4.2bn, up from €3.9bn a year ago, but thanks to a recent rights issue is down to €3.1bn now. The Germany-headquartere Anslysts at UBS (NYSE:UBS) noted that cruises continues to underperform compared to pre-pandemic 2019 with pricing still down 7%. But tour operator losses have recovered closer to 2019 levels, while hotel profits are higher. "We believe the recent decline in kerosene prices and strengthening pound could be tailwinds for 2H - although the magnitude of the support is unclear due to limited disclosure on hedging," the analysts said. The shares have "significantly underperformed" the EU travel sector so far in 2023 in the context of its April rights issue, but today's results are seen as "suggesting things are on track" with improving prices and stronger cash inflow. "We see a potential window of opportunity over the next weeks for the shares to outperform travel names, narrowing some of the gap," they said. |
Posted at 25/4/2023 10:31 by hamhamham1 I think the share price for investors to get in could have been within a couple of percent of the RI, any investors waiting for that price (487p) more likely would set their buy levels a few percent above that level, as likely would bounce off 487p pretty quick, and only a small window to jump in at that point IMO. But hey, I know nothing. |
Posted at 05/4/2023 07:20 by steeplejack The rights issue is fully underwritten and TUI is guaranteed its monies.Happy days for company and German government both.As for the small private investor?Arguably,th |
Posted at 31/3/2023 09:21 by steeplejack This has all become very complicated for private investors.First the consolidation and now the heavily discounted rights means its far from easy to track exactly whats going on.Brokers are not always that good at updating accounts which adds to confusion.Technicall |
Posted at 31/3/2023 07:07 by kibes Tried to buy some rights on Interactive Investor but they don't appear to be on sale. If private investors can't buy them, who can? There is not going to be a fair market, sellers will just have to take whatever is offered (by who anyway?). |
Posted at 30/3/2023 12:01 by skinny Also for clarity - I can sell the 'tradeable' rights - but not buy any :-"By law certain stocks must have a Key Investor Information Document / Key Information Document available before investors can purchase them. The party responsible for publishing the documents have not made them available to Hargreaves Lansdown for this stock and so it cannot be purchased. We apologise for any inconvenience caused." |
