Surely to day they should finish with a blue day by the end of the day.............a ftse to loose 20% in one day is extremely rare in normal circumstances.

Understand Capita = shocking management, DC. = CPW and competition, but TUI = one of the largest tour operators globally, and others going out of business should equate to stronger market position!

Seen this too many times, companies losing half their value in space of year, but not so often in FTSE 100 co. with leading market position, unbelievable if you can believe it!

Anyone know what % witholding tax will be in Germany going forward ? Can tax withheld be offset against tax on UK divi's. Thanks for any clarification.

A good bounce in the morning that is for sure a FTSE blue down as much as 20% that is far to much and well oversold.They will cruise + 1000p in early morning.I am happy to hold them at 988p.

Well, how lucky can you get. I decided I was going to buy these last night even though I was looking at 1080 when I initially reviewed them.
Now they're 960 so that's saved me a packet.
After reading the posts I'm not too happy to buy even at this price.
I haven't bought anything for 2 months - this market is loopy.
Anything can happen, even to FTSE100 companies.

This profits warning came out of nowhere.

27th September they stated they expected “Atleast”; 10% growth now they say no growth.
27th September they stated hot weather NOT effecting their bookings , now they are saying hot weather HAS effected bookings.

Who can we rely on for accurate information.

I bought shares in this company believing it was firing on all cylinders
