I've always seen TT as a group of highly attractive smallish businesses with good product lines overseen by a vastly inflated/costly head office and divisional structure. Synergy gains must be huge. Would not be surprised to see counter offers and will wait developments.

VLX is 9% down... So the offer worth 7p less already!But TTG is nicely picking up around 110p ATM.

Let’s hope the Board engage is a serious discussion. Given the fall the offer looks generous, another example of exaggerated market pricing relative to the worth of a company. I wonder if we see someone else make an approach now a level has been set. Let’s hope the Volex shareholders like the deal and don’t dump their stock. What a ride we have had.

This is hilarious but I'm due a bit of good luck. Messed up my spread bet yesterday and staked twice my intention. Was going to bail on half this morning to de-risk. What a difference a day makes. Limit set at 134. My best short term trade ever and it was a mistake! Lol.

This one could easily stuff it up further but debt levels look relatively stable - going to be a long road to recovery but at least it looks as though there isn't a need for an equity issue.

Debt is well under control, from 1.7x last year, 1.9x at H1 to around 2x expected at fy.


Not surprised to see revenue under pressure. Will probably see eps of around 10-12p per share.


Should see a recovery from here. Think the bottom us in.

Good morning. I echo your thoughts. Looks like they have identified and stabilised the problem. The order book is higher, they anticipate a 12% operating margin which is higher than current market forecasts, leverage is not going higher than already flagged and the finance director has resigned, which has to be a positive. So yes. I think at least the pain may have stopped. Let’s hope Blackrock are of the same view. Emotional rollercoaster aside, the valuation metrics are on the floor. I would like to see the directors out their hands in their pocket, no board member has bought a share since March ‘23

That doesn't seem as bad as it could have been. I thought it may have been a complete howler going by the previous profit warning. Seems like they have identified the issues and are taking the necessary steps to mitigate them. Relief rally?

Would be more concerned to see lots of selling. I think ppl are just sitting on their hands waiting to see how the Q3 trading update reads. If it's positive, I see them piling back in.

This is a brutal performance, no serious buyers around. Let’s hope the results on the 14th Nov can at least put a floor on the share price.

Oh, you are referring to a short position. No big deal. They are covering before the next trading update which is due in the next couple of weeks. Who knows which way it will go.

Granted, things are bad at TTG but surely they are not tainted with a Russian connection. Worldquant CEO Igor Tulchinsky...... If they are it could just be game over! Where did you find the information relating to a position under 3%?
