15/11/2024 08:54 | I've always seen TT as a group of highly attractive smallish businesses with good product lines overseen by a vastly inflated/costly head office and divisional structure. Synergy gains must be huge. Would not be surprised to see counter offers and will wait developments. | overeager
15/11/2024 08:51 | Still" CHEAP like chips" let it run and run till the proper offer price, well above 150p | master rsi
15/11/2024 08:32 | VLX is 9% down... So the offer worth 7p less already! But TTG is nicely picking up around 110p ATM. | hericsaba
15/11/2024 08:25 | Good analysis of TTs' woes by VLX (especially decisions by previous management), not sure what they can mount as a defence, best to engage | eigthwonder
15/11/2024 08:09 | Guess I will stay long and see if a better offer comes in. Well done to those who kept the faith. | indiestu
15/11/2024 08:08 | If I were a holder I would snap their hand off given the premium offered | ayl30
15/11/2024 08:07 | Slightly disappointing opening. Guess the board not wanting to engage has put a dampener on it. | indiestu
15/11/2024 07:28 | Let’s hope the Board engage is a serious discussion. Given the fall the offer looks generous, another example of exaggerated market pricing relative to the worth of a company. I wonder if we see someone else make an approach now a level has been set. Let’s hope the Volex shareholders like the deal and don’t dump their stock. What a ride we have had. | sausage7
15/11/2024 07:20 | This is hilarious but I'm due a bit of good luck. Messed up my spread bet yesterday and staked twice my intention. Was going to bail on half this morning to de-risk. What a difference a day makes. Limit set at 134. My best short term trade ever and it was a mistake! Lol. | indiestu
15/11/2024 07:05 | Poss offer from VLX 135p | bigbigdave
15/11/2024 07:04 | 139.6p offer in. Luvly jubbly!! | wallywoo
14/11/2024 09:50 | RBC cuts TT Electronics price target to 160 (200) pence - 'outperform' | indiestu
14/11/2024 09:15 | Never mind, Sceptical. Don't give up the day job!!! | wallywoo
14/11/2024 08:28 | This one could easily stuff it up further but debt levels look relatively stable - going to be a long road to recovery but at least it looks as though there isn't a need for an equity issue. | eigthwonder
14/11/2024 07:40 | Debt is well under control, from 1.7x last year, 1.9x at H1 to around 2x expected at fy. Not surprised to see revenue under pressure. Will probably see eps of around 10-12p per share. Should see a recovery from here. Think the bottom us in. | wallywoo
14/11/2024 07:33 | Good morning. I echo your thoughts. Looks like they have identified and stabilised the problem. The order book is higher, they anticipate a 12% operating margin which is higher than current market forecasts, leverage is not going higher than already flagged and the finance director has resigned, which has to be a positive. So yes. I think at least the pain may have stopped. Let’s hope Blackrock are of the same view. Emotional rollercoaster aside, the valuation metrics are on the floor. I would like to see the directors out their hands in their pocket, no board member has bought a share since March ‘23 | sausage7
14/11/2024 07:30 | Oh Sceptical. You are an eternal bear. | indiestu
14/11/2024 07:27 | You wearing rose tinted glasses? Or you just blind?50p open i reckon | scepticalinvestor
14/11/2024 07:25 | That doesn't seem as bad as it could have been. I thought it may have been a complete howler going by the previous profit warning. Seems like they have identified the issues and are taking the necessary steps to mitigate them. Relief rally? | indiestu
12/11/2024 18:46 | Would be more concerned to see lots of selling. I think ppl are just sitting on their hands waiting to see how the Q3 trading update reads. If it's positive, I see them piling back in. | ppreston1
12/11/2024 17:44 | With very little buying into results doesn't bode well.! | beeezzz
07/11/2024 10:44 | This is a brutal performance, no serious buyers around. Let’s hope the results on the 14th Nov can at least put a floor on the share price. | sausage7
05/11/2024 18:14 | Oh, you are referring to a short position. No big deal. They are covering before the next trading update which is due in the next couple of weeks. Who knows which way it will go. | indiestu
05/11/2024 17:23 | Granted, things are bad at TTG but surely they are not tainted with a Russian connection. Worldquant CEO Igor Tulchinsky...... If they are it could just be game over! Where did you find the information relating to a position under 3%? | indiestu
04/11/2024 23:05 | Worldquant has reduce 0.10% Worldquant Llc 0.49% 1 Nov 2024 Worldquant Llc 0.59% 22 Oct 2024 | cielos |
