16/4/2008 12:14 | FWIW, apart from around 5 months in mid 2007 and a couple of brief peaks in 2006, TPA has spent most of the last two and a half years under 4p without a buyer appearing, so it would appear that the recent sub 2p lows are what interested a potential bidder. Therefore, chasing this up could be dangerous(unless you are feeling particularly lucky)..... Rgds dell All IMHO, DYOR etc. P.S. Amusing to note the circa 50% decline soon after Knowing first bought in just after the mid 2005 profit warning. | dell314
16/4/2008 11:59 | If the bid is around 4p then not much left.....but they keep buying lol lvl 2 improving now at 3v2 from 1v2 a few trades ago. | seanmiller
16/4/2008 09:25 | Silly boy dell. One day you will learn to make money. | knowing
16/4/2008 09:16 | Last year chief executive Jason Cromack and chief financial officer Richard Hodgson both purchased 121,212 shares at 4.125 pence each so they must think its worth about that and that was with 1 million more debt then. So I would guess somewhere around that figure. | p-m
16/4/2008 08:40 | dell you were wrong though werent you ;-) | p-m
16/4/2008 08:37 | Knowing - So we are expected to believe that you've traded in and out all the way down from near double digits, making money every time, eh? PMSL!! Funny how you're always posting ten to the dozen here, when any bit of positive news gets released. That suggests a holder desperately averaging down to me... Rgds dell All IMHO, DYOR etc. | dell314
16/4/2008 08:29 | dell that does not mean I have held all the time you silly sausage. I really wish you would understand these types of stocks are bought and sold. Maybe that is why you never make money ie MyTravel LOL Oh and yes a serious chunk of debt is true but there are tax losses to take into account. | knowing
16/4/2008 08:27 | John - Presumably you missed the fact that Knowing started "tipping" this stock when it was at least 8p and possibly even higher(note who started this thread!).... The guy is (in)famous for ramping stocks on ADVFN/iii that he's bought simply because they are on the top fallers list, with no understanding whatsoever of their financial situation. Rgds dell All IMHO, DYOR etc. P.S. Lawson - Who knows but any bidder will have to include a serious chunk of debt in their calculations. At current levels an EV/EBITDA ratio certainly doesn't strike me as one that a buyer would snap your hand off for... | dell314
16/4/2008 08:25 | Market pricing it at around 4p. dee are you still in? | knowing
16/4/2008 08:14 | anybody hazard a guess at what price for possible offer ? | lawson27
16/4/2008 08:10 | LOL John regardless of what happens this was a treble bagger. Not leaky was it ;-) | knowing
16/4/2008 08:05 | dell> Missed the boat, didn't take Knowing's "King of the Tiddlers" tip here! We're are all at the party apart from you by the tone of your post. LOL! | john hampton
16/4/2008 07:57 | I wonder how serious this expression of interest is? With net debt of £13.6mln, the company would cost over £22mln to buy at current preopen price of 4.25p. Unless there are synergies, or asset disposal potential, you have to wonder if a potential buyer that was interested at circa 1.5p would still be interested at this level.... Rgds dell All IMHO, DYOR etc. | dell314
15/4/2008 22:37 | Nice to see a million trade today. Volume has picked up nicely the last few days. | knowing
15/4/2008 15:06 | Just phoned my sister in law in Thailand told her to organise a fence and security guards around our rice fields! As for these tick ups today, fantastic! indicators for me still on BUY | ausso
15/4/2008 11:16 | Wanna buy some John...it's me new thing ;-) Looks like market are after sellers today. | knowing
15/4/2008 10:48 | onwards & upwards over the coming year, hopefully the same for (PPR) Knowing do you know anything about this? lol! Neighbours reported suspicious foreign trucks arriving outside your garage late last night? Bangkok, Thailand: Government sources said on Monday $100 million worth of rice has gone missing from national warehouses. | john hampton
14/4/2008 23:28 | Nice of dell to pop along and add his unbiased comments as usual. Thanks dell | knowing
14/4/2008 15:48 | it was 14.9m a year ago and they made 1.8m of payments so it lost 0.5 million somewhere.. probably a bonus to Northern Rock. Main thing is the debt is reducing. | p-m
14/4/2008 14:15 | Why the revived interest lately? Is it just momentum traders, as comparing EBITDA to Enterprise value doesn't look very inspiring? Also, has anyone else noticed that net debt actually rose from June 2007 to Dec 2007? Net debt at 31 December 2007 was down to £13.6m ...... Net debt reduced....to £13.2m at 30 June 2007 i.e. net debt increased by £400k in the 6mo. to Dec 2007!! Rgds dell All IMHO, DYOR etc. | dell314
14/4/2008 13:51 | Nice and positive. | knowing
12/4/2008 00:07 | Anyone trying to trade the dips may well get locked out as results are due anytime. | knowing
11/4/2008 16:04 | Just got back home, I took the kids to Marwell Zoo, thought I'd go and get some ideas incase I have to become a monkeys uncle! Price has held up well, the markets not looking pretty, it's Friday and there's bound to be profit taking. It is tempting to sell but why do that when there is a good indication of further rises. I agree JH this looks a good recovery play, there are bound to be dips along the way though. | ausso
11/4/2008 15:59 | As I said last week see where it is this week and its doing just fine ! | p-m |
