Good plan I did the Same yesterday Indalo reason was I could not see the bidder adding much more to csh takeout price and needed the extra income from soho, I have had a few of these for a while and for all the sectors faults it's a reliable income whatsoever is happening in the economy it will not have any effect here while borrowing costs are fixed at the very low level we have .

Surprised it’s so quiet here. Equivalent price for SOHO would be 83p (27% discount to NAV). The market should take comfort from the fact serious bidders are emerging for these assets. I’ve sold my CSH and bought these. If they don’t re-rate I’m happy WP be paid 10% to wait!

Decent article by David Stevenson on citywire if anyone would know of the viability of there REITS I would think local councils would be knowledgeable about them a number hold large positions in SOHO for their local council pension funds.

SOHO has too many clients not meeting regulatory standards. To their credit, management are working with them to get them back to compliance. Some good news from one or two of these clients would help change share price sentiment. It is to be hoped that yet another isn't found to be wanting. That really would hit the share price

I think sentiment is going to remain extremely poor here until a property or two are sold at somewhere close to book value. I understand some disposals are part of the current buy back plan.

SOHO started with 402,789k shares
Down to 401,565k now

1,224k bought back for say £575k

Around 11.5% of the share buyback completed in 6 days so around 50 days so around 50 days to go at this speed.

Will buying back £5m on a £200m market cap make a difference?

The market is so far unconvinced but there's plenty of time yet
