Best plan might be to just turn into 'stub equity' financial play on the minority interests and turn off all the company opex.

Inevitable really though I liked Fraser. He was very responsive to e-mail queries and seemed a little too honest probably. A long road ahead now for the rest of the team.

It's about being taken over I think. That could come any time, or not at all!

So with very little volume and a price that has stabilised at current range, what are the prospects of getting good drill results from TPJ before Christmas to send the share price northwards?

If newmont drop out of morobe, that is a sensible scenario re newcrest interest in particular.o

Agree Newcrest and Barrick may surprise us with an RNS in the a.m spurring the shares back to 2p!

Please, make me an offer, I'm averaging 3.6p so all offers considered - lol

Not sure what Newmont are up to. IMO they've got bigger fish to fry so they can't be bothered pumping money into this when it's not really showing great prospects(Morobe). Elsewhere, Newcrest and Barrick are meant to be about to release results on JVs with TPJ. These might be in the rumour pot.

Tpj have no debt - so certainly no restrictions there - Its where the majors can see the attractiveness of its projects - Cash till 2014 and with the last RNS perhaps an indication that all could be on offer -

Well they have enough cash to last up to 2014 so it'll be interesting to see where this goes -

I doubt Newmont will come in with an offer. Collapsing the price with the "no budget for Morobe" RNS, then pulling a rabbit out of the hat and buying the whole company for a now knock-down price would raise a few eyebrows.

But they can have my shares for 5p.

Yes its a possibility but suspect they can interest from a third party if newmont really wanted out.

Think a few were side swiped by that rns saying newmont were not allocating a budget to morobe. Well not allocating a budget doesnt mean you are not going to spend. I dont have a budget for my wife's flowers, chocolate or expensive holidays. But you can bet i will be spending on all three in the next year.

Yes, think so. Proba bly now a sale target, and they have slimmed down ops to make that very easy.

I could only get a quote 25k at 1p - Looking at the last RNS I reckon management options are open to say the more extreme - i.e a sale of the company or otherwise is a possibility
