Steady on 2trying one must remember they are all entitled to a family life so must remain in the UK on welfare, it's only right and proper.

"Welcome to the Labour Poisoned Chalice Chase ".

"The big prize is to lead the Labour Party to defeat in the next General Election".

"And the runners and riders are getting ready".

"Oops...Action Man Jarvis has not turned up".

"And another one...Bananaman has pulled out as well".

"Oh no...yet another one...Smarmy Umarmy has refused to even get into the saddle...weighed down by something, apparently".

"There are tears in the crowd...the medics have been called...someone called 'Mandy' is clearly distressed".

"And...There's problems with Wrecking Balls...she's completely lost it...gone off in the wrong direction ".

"A Right Tristram Hunt is getting ready...a definite lightweight...and looking uncertain". "Crash and Burnham...bookies favourite...is being helped into the saddle by a group of Union heavies...he looks ready to go...but has a big handicap".
"This is all looking like a disaster and the race hasn't even started yet".

BB King joins the night shift. Here he is singing live "The Thrill has Gone" wonderful performance, as always, from the master.

usual source
EU's responsible for the never ending flow of immigrants into our shores and prevent us from protecting our borders and welfare systems. The latest proposal is for a quota system to re home the flood of illegals entering Italy across the EU member states.

Did you notice how carefully the EU left that announcement until after our General Election - was this to avoid assisting UKIP ?

This post carries a warning of suicide .

You are advised not to read it .

From GF himself .

Apparently Geoffrey Robinson in the rock solid labour
seat of Coventry , who has just been re-elected of course , is
to stand down . He only stayed on to ensure the seat stayed labour .

so.....prepare for a by election almost immediately .

The labour candidate ?

Ed Balls .

So the Tories plan to cap benefits at just £23 000 a year? And just how am I expected to live on that? I am a 34 year old male but unable to work due to getting a backache sometimes. Do they not realise that National Lottery scratchcards now cost £2 each? that a litre of vodka is £18? that 20cigs are £8? and McDonalds don't give their food away. When will they wise up? I say its a disgrace.

An interesting post , echoing iNside2 's thoughts

It will, at some point (God knows when) suddenly occur to the SNP that they actually LOST this election. Of course, last night was NOT what losing an election looks like in Scotland but, even so, they have made a promise to the Scottish people that they are in no position to deliver on. A large part of the reason (but not the only reason) that the Conservatives did so well in England was, paradoxically, because of the behaviour, antics and boasting of the SNP. Therefore, the SNP have, in reality, just delivered a stunning left wing failure.
I'm really not sure if that, in itself, will lead to knife sharpening in Scotland, but it's a step along the road.........
