Quarterly activity update

Tribal, a pioneering world-leader of education software and services, is pleased to provide a summary of activity across all three operating segments of Student Information Systems (SIS), Quality Assurance Solutions (QAS) and i-graduate for the first quarter of 2018.

Student Information Systems (SIS)

Amongst the new wins in SIS, Tribal is pleased to welcome several new customers across all education sectors.

Higher Education (HE):

   --      UK: 

- University of Portsmouth;

- Canterbury Christ Church University;

- Glasgow Caledonian University (from the end of 2017).

   --      Canada: 

- a major expansion of services for a Canadian university.

Further Education (FE)

In FE, Tribal has been selected as the vendor of choice for the new Learner Management System across all Further Education colleges in Northern Ireland, a five-year contract with options to extend up to a further four years.

Tribal was also selected to provide new student information systems at:

   --      Greater Brighton Metropolitan College; 
   --      Highbury College; 
   --      Tower Hamlet Council; and 
   --      Oldham Council, all in the UK. 

In New Zealand, Tribal also welcomes English Language Partners as a new customer.

Work Based Learning (WBL)

Tribal's business with training providers and employers continues to progress, especially with the renewed UK focus on apprenticeships. New customers in the UK include:

   --      Harriet Ellis Training Solutions; 
   --      the Home Group; 
   --      Access Skills Ltd; and 
   --      University Academy Holbeach. 

Schools

Our focus on schools in Australia has also brought several new customers including Pioneer Village Schools; Our Lady Star of the Sea, Nambucca Valley; and the Islamic College of Melbourne.

Quality Assurance Solutions

Our QAS business has signed a number of deals in the quarter. For Educational Improvement Services we have contracts with:

-- United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Education for the inspection of private schools in Dubai and Northern Emirates;

   --      Raha International School, Dubai for inspection skills training; 
   --      Fallsburg Central School District, New York, US for improvement services; 

-- Kent School District, St Cloud (Minnesota) and Kellogg Foundation, US for reviews and improvement services;

   --      Greyfriars Ministries Ltd, UK for nursery school improvement services; and 
   --      GEMS Education for school reviews in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Egypt. 

We have also extended the technology support for early years' inspections for Ofsted.

In addition, we have expanded our financial benchmarking clients including deals with:

   --      Sunderland College; 
   --      Loughborough College; 
   --      Telford College of Arts and Technology; 
   --      Plymouth Marjon University; 
   --      University of Nottingham; 
   --      London SE Colleges; 
   --      RNN Group; and 

-- The Department of Finance, Northern Ireland, this being part of the Value for Money Review of Further Education Colleges in Northern Ireland.

i-graduate

The i-graduate business has a strong position as a leading provider of objective measures of the student experience. The Student Barometer and International Student Barometer have been taken up by several new customers including:

   --      Oxford Brookes University, UK; 
   --      German European School, Singapore; 
   --      University of Oulu, Finland; and 
   --      University of Amsterdam, Netherlands. 

i-graduate also extended the DLHE survey for the UK to include Kingston University, Birkbeck, University of London, and six colleges in Northern Ireland.
