07/9/2002 16:59 | According to FT.com, there is one broker recommendation of 'strong buy', and a forecast of 2.9p eps for this year, followed by 6.2p next year. | welshanalyst
29/8/2002 01:55 | its a bit quiet isnt it, both here and trading wise. Results should be due very soon....last years announcement of results was 22 aug with results on 9 sept so we must be very close now. Lets hope they give us something to cheer about. Phil | the jitters

22/8/2002 08:43 | "Our most notable multi-year agreements are with leading e-learning content developers, SmartForce and Skillsoft." these two companies merged didn't they? so you know what happens when companies merge. market might be worried about this? all these large trades going through, but the price isn't budging. | kiwimonk
21/8/2002 21:50 | Dragging right along the bottom now so hardly surprising that some are choosing to take large positions. With the solid order book, its unlikely this company will go bust and half decent results would have this rocketing in value. Not bad from a risk/reward perspective now......just wish I had held on longer before buying! Phil | the jitters
21/8/2002 17:54 | More strange activity today. | isis
20/8/2002 22:50 | why are they delayed | contract note
20/8/2002 17:56 | More after hours trades, look like buys - wot a game eh! | isis
20/8/2002 08:55 | Looks like a strong speculative buy. That is no ramp, as I don't hold at present.Lucky enough to sell out at 50p. But at this price? Further downside limited, although it may take a few months to start creeping back up. | littlemadam

20/8/2002 08:19 | The last RNS for Edinburgh was on 27/6/2001 when they held 6.66%. Yesterday's RNS shows a holding of 3.98%. I notice now though that the shares are held in a different nominee a/c, so maybe it is a new holding. The price has still been going down though so I'm not sure what is going on. | gzr
19/8/2002 17:59 | ..and some after hours buying around 400k - more mystery. | isis
19/8/2002 17:53 | See if it pops up tomorrow. Friday's action suggested sales going through or at least both ways - still bemused as to whats going on & the company is not helping matters. These are either extremely cheap or there's more than meets the eye. | isis
19/8/2002 17:46 | This looks like fresh money entering. Looks a reasonable punt at this kind of level, only wish I had waited longer before buying in. Never mind, you cant win em all and I'm happy to hold as I would be fairly comfortable buying in at this price. Phil | the jitters
19/8/2002 17:34 | Ar you sure that's a sale - there does'nt appear to be a holding in BNY nominess already:- Major Shareholders: 35.74m 10p Ords - RBSTB Nominees Ltd 8.63%, Nutraco Nominees Ltd 6.21%, Chase Nominees Ltd 3.78%, B K Raven 3.72%, K McBrien 2.28%, O C Cooke 1.66%, Other Dirs 0.79%. 19/8/2002 17:15 | Edinburgh reducing holding now as well. | gzr
19/8/2002 12:37 | Evening Dave, Care to explain to my why if I only invest in woofers that all 3 of the portfolios I look after are in profit this year? You have had a few howlers yourself, but the difference is I dont hide mine, nor do I highlight your failures, it would be nice if you could be constructive for a change instead of either blowing your own trumpet or blowing raspberries at others. Any investor who claims to only ever find winners is a liar. Also worthy of mention is the slating you constantly gave me regarding Riversoft yet that yielded me a nice fat chunk profit in the end. Phil | the jitters
19/8/2002 08:45 | CN - I am still holding. As I said the co. told me the reason for the fall was sentinment, but this fall suggests there is more to it - if they had been materially affected by a bad deal or something they should have warned as is normal practice, so far they hav'nt & year ended June. I think figs are due around mid September. | isis
18/8/2002 23:42 | Oh dear - A typical Jitters woofer - When will he learn?? | frankbutcher

16/8/2002 13:02 | has there been any responce from tech invest | contract note
16/8/2002 10:43 | All very strange - it was Fidelity who took nearly all the placing 9 months ago. They have issued no profit warning & figs are due any week now, Beeson's still had them as a buy upto the end of April & Techinvest were still tipping them in March after half year in-line figures. Reponses from the company I received a month ago blamed market sentiment for the shareprice & that thay had no contact from the DTI regarding the demerger from GLD nor did they expect to, nor had their Auditors resigned as was suggested on iii. Fidelity must have drip fed it's holding which is probably the worst thing they could do & I see no reason why they would be tipped off as they are fairly new & there are larger, older holders on board including themselves. The lack of news & transparency from his company has been to say the least 'f@cking awful' & after the figs I would hope to see some of the board go & do somethng else - suggestions on a postcard please. I note large X trade gone through - fidelity's last whack maybe? | isis |
