I appreciate that not all of us look at things the same way, but I wouldn't call the GOS turnover exciting or exponential.. Moving in the right direction YES, but slowly considering the sector they are in.

The GOS set up and assistance from CQC could certainly put it in an exponential growth situation.

One thing I do hope that I am wrong about is the reason for the silence and lack of news. We all like to think that things are going on behind the scenes and are brewing. But generally with these small start-ups it just means they are struggling. And although I do appreciate the shiny new website, it hasn't given me anything to get to excited about. .

Have you heard anything regarding the GOS business. There doesn't seem to be much in the way of progress being posted on their website. There was lots of enthusiasm being shown over inquiries after the last trade show but no news since. So is it safe to assume the business is just plodding along and not making any great inroads, or is there something brewing apart from the office tea pot."

I don't believe that I know any more than you do.
And when I suggested that the delay in the expected early December update might be due to a RTO, I made it plain that I was speculating - there could of course be other reasons.

But the revamped GOS Systems website - the first revamping since TGL's acquisition of GOS in November 2014 - could also potentially point to a RTO.
By way of comparison, PLMO (Polemos) is currently arranging the RTO of tech security company Securlinx, and Securlinx has just revamped its own website.


And GOS's website revamping isn't just superficial: it looks to have increased the targeting of the business and commercial sector, including channel partners, compared to the previous emphasis on law enforcement and government agencies.

And that makes sense given the opportunity presented by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

I would characterize GOS's turnover doubling since 2014 as good, solid growth, rather than "just plodding along".

But this growth could potentially accelerate going forward, especially if increased funding and a public listing are obtained.

I would say that would most likely be the reason for the updated website then. I don't suppose we will ever see a long list of clients on their website anyway but that won't matter if the revenue is good enough for a return to market.

Yes, in the last presentation which we had over a year ago now, they said that this was an area that GOS could do business. So we might get an update on this at some point when ever that might be.

In short Peter it is the ‘General Data Protection Regulation’.It comes into regulation in May and all companies and organisations have to adhere to stricter rules on data protection through encryption and data handling. If companies have a data breach then they will incur heavy penalties.

I agree Mark. I didn’t really notice the grammar that much as I was trying to work out the potential of what they are progressing with. I am hoping that it is all moving towards something. Parts of it certainly feel that way

Yes it is far from perfect, it is not optimised for my IPad. Looks nicer though and which client is going to spend any time on it anyway. Let’s hope it is a sign they are pulling things together.

The website is poor. It has been built with Google Sites, it hasn't been optimised for mobiles / tablets, and they haven't even bothered to proof read it to correct the grammar. That tells me cash flow doesn't allow for professional Web developers.

It does lay their products out better, much prefer the new website. Gives hope they see a future which the old website like of updating was a worry.
