12/3/2018 18:14 | SI, What is a shambles is your thought processes. Most investors, if an e-mail address wasn't getting a response, would phone if it was important. | hedgehog 100
12/3/2018 17:09 | Three emails sent to company/Director in the past month and no reply. Shambles. | smart_investor
17/2/2018 10:31 | Cheers hedgehog. It’s good to read something positive at last! | moormoney
16/2/2018 18:59 | Cheers hedgehog, I appreciate that not all of us look at things the same way, but I wouldn't call the GOS turnover exciting or exponential.. Moving in the right direction YES, but slowly considering the sector they are in. The GOS set up and assistance from CQC could certainly put it in an exponential growth situation. One thing I do hope that I am wrong about is the reason for the silence and lack of news. We all like to think that things are going on behind the scenes and are brewing. But generally with these small start-ups it just means they are struggling. And although I do appreciate the shiny new website, it hasn't given me anything to get to excited about. . | 1399peter

There doesn't seem to be much in the way of progress being posted on their website. There was lots of enthusiasm being shown over inquiries after the last trade show but no news since. So is it safe to assume the business is just plodding along and not making any great inroads, or is there something brewing apart from the office tea pot." Singray105 13 Feb '18 - 13:08 - 7726 of 7743 0 0 0 "Yes Hedgehog can you fill us in if you know for sure that something is going on behind the scenes like the RTO that you refer to, is this going to go ahead sometime soon. Is that the reason for this silence?" Peter & Ray, I don't believe that I know any more than you do. And when I suggested that the delay in the expected early December update might be due to a RTO, I made it plain that I was speculating - there could of course be other reasons. But the revamped GOS Systems website - the first revamping since TGL's acquisition of GOS in November 2014 - could also potentially point to a RTO. By way of comparison, PLMO (Polemos) is currently arranging the RTO of tech security company Securlinx, and Securlinx has just revamped its own website. And GOS's website revamping isn't just superficial: it looks to have increased the targeting of the business and commercial sector, including channel partners, compared to the previous emphasis on law enforcement and government agencies. And that makes sense given the opportunity presented by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): "7/11/2017 10:30 AM The High Costs of GDPR Compliance Looming, increasingly strict EU privacy regulations are pushing privacy spending to the top of IT priorities and budgets. ...To find a solution to their GDPR woes, all of the respondents report that they will invest in resources such as consultants, new hires, and technology to help prepare for next year's May deadline. A full 99% will invest in additional capabilities. A scant one percent seems to be all set! ..." "There is already a lack of privacy experts and knowledge as of today and new requirements might worsen the situation." I would characterize GOS's turnover doubling since 2014 as good, solid growth, rather than "just plodding along". But this growth could potentially accelerate going forward, especially if increased funding and a public listing are obtained. | hedgehog 100
16/2/2018 13:16 | Bill, I would say that would most likely be the reason for the updated website then. I don't suppose we will ever see a long list of clients on their website anyway but that won't matter if the revenue is good enough for a return to market. | 1399peter
16/2/2018 13:08 | Yes, in the last presentation which we had over a year ago now, they said that this was an area that GOS could do business. So we might get an update on this at some point when ever that might be. | singray105
16/2/2018 11:20 | Interesting FB, thanks. | mark10101
16/2/2018 10:53 | In short Peter it is the ‘General Data Protection Regulation’.It comes into regulation in May and all companies and organisations have to adhere to stricter rules on data protection through encryption and data handling. If companies have a data breach then they will incur heavy penalties. | firefly bill
16/2/2018 09:44 | Sorry Bill, remind me what's happening in May GDPR??? | 1399peter
15/2/2018 19:53 | Do you think they have been waiting for the GDPR in May or is this a coincidence and has nothing to do with the new website? | firefly bill
15/2/2018 19:47 | Well it's good to see they are still there anyway. Just need some news added now. | 1399peter
15/2/2018 19:39 | I agree Mark. I didn’t really notice the grammar that much as I was trying to work out the potential of what they are progressing with. I am hoping that it is all moving towards something. Parts of it certainly feel that way | firefly bill
15/2/2018 19:04 | Yes it is far from perfect, it is not optimised for my IPad. Looks nicer though and which client is going to spend any time on it anyway. Let’s hope it is a sign they are pulling things together. | mark10101
15/2/2018 18:56 | Yes I noticed the grammar, what a pity. | singray105
14/2/2018 21:17 | Apart from that everything else ok? | mark10101
14/2/2018 20:55 | The website is poor. It has been built with Google Sites, it hasn't been optimised for mobiles / tablets, and they haven't even bothered to proof read it to correct the grammar. That tells me cash flow doesn't allow for professional Web developers. | thelung
14/2/2018 13:43 | It does lay their products out better, much prefer the new website. Gives hope they see a future which the old website like of updating was a worry. | mark10101
14/2/2018 13:36 | Nice new website indeed, we have finally moved into the 21st century it would seem. Positive. | singray105
14/2/2018 13:06 | Bill, Yes just had a look. Nice new website but nothing new to tell us. As far as I could see anyway | 1399peter
14/2/2018 12:37 | A good sign, well spotted Fierfly. Been keeping an eye on the website periodically and been disappointed it has not been updated. | mark10101
14/2/2018 11:52 | Just seen an update to GOS website... thoughts anyone? | firefly bill
13/2/2018 13:08 | Yes Hedgehog can you fill us in if you know for sure that something is going on behind the scenes like the RTO that you refer to, is this going to go ahead sometime soon. Is that the reason for this silence? | singray105
