As I understand it there was a planning application lodged on 2nd September for 16 houses & 6 flats to be built on land at George Street, Staplehurst with an option for further development on land adjoining. A copy of the application has been published on another bulletin board this morning.

Not worried. The longer this stays "under the radar" prior to results, the longer I can continue to accumulate as funds allow.

I now have a very good proportion (and growing) of the "free float" shares, and happy to keep building all the time they will sell them to me at this price.

INTERVIEW: TRAFALGAR NEW HOMES CEO SAYS STAYING SOUTH WILL REAP REWARDS

Johnson is happy with the size of the company's land bank, which will last it up to 2015. However, the firm has sought to buy land in Staplehurst, Kent, for a "beneficial purchase price", he said. The land has been earmarked for a substantial residential development and it is anticipated planning permission will be granted on the five acres once the planning application has been submitted.

The big attraction for investors in Trafalgar New Homes is its relative valuation compared with the bigger companies listed on the main market, which have seen share prices rise sharply this year as the housing market picked up.

I'm just wondering if both properties priced at £615,000 for sale at Oakhurst Park Gardens might be sold STC as they are not advertised by Savills on the www.rightmove.co.uk website., whereas properties for 650k,600k,595k,575k,550k,and 525k are all listed still for sale. I know that Plot 3 is sold STC, but it appears as if Plot 4 might also be sold.

Poster on LSE is of the opinion that the third plot at Oakenhurst is now STC,

IMHO it would not be a huge surprise if it is, taking into account the recent open day and supporting marketing drive in recent weeks, I would not be surprised if there is actually more properties on the development that are STC, perhaps we will see this update via the interim report that is due, prior to it being updated on Combe Bank Homes web site?..................GL S
