Trading Sports Exchange Systems was the best performer on the London market, soaring 104 per cent, or 20.5p to 40p. Dealing rooms were awash with rumours about the stock and the most exciting story suggested that Terry Ramsden, the millionaire racing enthusiast, is about to get involved with the company.

Mr Ramsden's tie-up with Leisureplay and Hansard Group has seen both company's share prices soar. And word has it he is planning to inject cash into Trading Sports and take a board seat. This is, of course, speculation. In terms of facts, all we know is that Trading Sports is considering a fund raising.

This funding business. Just a thought, but if that terry Ramsden is involved somewhere then this share must have much further to go surely???

I mean, look at LPY and HSD as recent examples of what happens to a share when he is involved in the fundraising. LPY went from 3p to 20p and is still rising. HSD went from circa 30p to over 100p and that too is still rising.

On both shares, EVO were pushing it big time, and surprise surprise, EVO were the ones who were pushing TES today too.

Of course I could be way off the mark!!!!!!

Good Luck!!

Thanks,

ST.

its too allow those who are putting money in to make some instant money, it provides an instant benefit.. imagine you take 10k to a bank valued at 15p and the next day you can take the money out at 30p a share for example, 100% profit overnight.. with the price this high it makes the fund raising more attractive and those who are nopt really interested in the company will give the company the funds anyway as they know they can make a QUICK buck, which is far enough. This way both parties are happy. Trading get the money at 15p and the others sell shares at 30p..+++

dell314 - I suspect the unpleasant happening will be a large institutional placing at 10p....always the case....always
