The blame lies with the previous fd mark hodgkins who left this business in a parlous financial state. He was responsible for the ill timed placings. It is sad that such good uk technology does not get the support it needs, poor quality advice all round. The broking / corp finance community just wants fees.

Clearly the markets knew of this way before the rns was released. My post of the 5th Sept referred to the EV contract being a likely issue and here we are today. Once we get clarity on the funding I might take a nibble but it will be impossible to gauge the psychological impact funding issues will have on possible future contracts. Which means you have to take a view on the current management being able to navigate this period of uncertainty. Does the current FD have the experience needed? Do we trust the MD? All uncertain answers imo.

additional funding will be required and the Company is reviewing a number of options for additional funding with its advisers and will provide further updates in due course.

Difficult to disagree but the company needs some breathing space-that means a cash injection, probably a trade partner given the state of the balance sheet

I feel sorry for the ceo here he has developed some excellent technology but has been badly advised . The previous fd mark Hodgkins was a disaster and must be held responsible for the ill timed placings and allowing the company to get into such a parlous financial position. The broker is only here to make money for themselves and have played a blinder. I suspect the only way forward is for the ceo to become cto and a rescue rights issue. All imo dyor sp

Mr MacGregor - Agree with this. Sneller has just bought a sizeable chunk in another company I'm in and he was seen as a very positive addition and signal. You don't take a big lump out of a company at such a delicate time for no reason. The board would have know he was selling up and will have tried everything they could, one hopes, to convince him not to.

Sneller selling is a negative. Shrewd investor who will sit out bad times if faith retained in future prospects. Suspect he thinks directors have holed this below waterline. Don't disagree.

Always shares drop in value just before discounted offers and you have to assume it's always down to insider trading. Unfortunately nothing ever gets done about it. A lot of shares traded today.
