They Announced in results that they need to raise 7.7m quid so the share price is heading for 1p imho.

Something going on, Peel Hunt hold 20% now

That is a serious holding for a micro cap like TRP

I know they have applied for new Namibian licences including PEL10

GBP's Peter Taylor holds 6% here and 20% GBP with licences adjacent to PEL10

Huge placing imminent, this could easily go back down below 1p.

Ray if you check out the GBP thread, you will see GBP have just taken block 2011A from PEL10, your quite right they were a bit quick on the draw moving out of PEL10.

However there is till a fair bit left that they have applied for

GBP I think are about to be taken out by ECO and AEC, if that happens they are bound to be interested in the rest of PEL10

GBP now has assets with over 15bln barrel potential mid case

Well, I did say I’d have a snifter...but I haven’t as you can see..no trades today!

But it’s on watch! They could get taken out, they have some very interesting areas of interest. :)

Rayrac I made a very decent turn from when it returned from suspension to when I sold between 1.55 and 1.7p but I feel now it is a lot more risky.

They are looking to drill offshore in a short space of time but don't have money to even pay the rig tug fees so either they are going to have to do a massive raising or get a partner in with deep pockets.
I am not sure given the vagaries of the 3d and the manner it has been reported that there will be much interest from a 3rd party as there are better prospects.

GL anyway.

I don’t hold trp, but have in the past. I thought they were a bit quick on the draw when exiting Namibia after the drill failure.

They have some very interesting prospects and I feel certain they will get there sometime soon.

Might have a snifter.:)

They are re-applying for PEL10. I have noticed on a few recent presentations describing new comers to Namibia including Repsol and thought it old news, but are they coming back ?

PEL10 is next door to GBP PEL29, both are hugely prospective

Peter Taylor holds 4% TRP and 20%GBP

I am sure a deal is about to be closed ahead of the C1 results at GBP, something might be in the pipe here as well

Totaly agree Jimarilo, and you have not factored in the management team & their
10+ years of failed results, still appeals to some

Looking at the estimated numbers in Cameroon they didn't look like they had the potential to be very exciting in any case

GBP have a CPR with 3.66bln barrels mid case potential, trading at cash £4m

If they get their farmout deal ahead of Cormorant spud/results, it will be at a multiple of the current m/cap

I just don't see the fascination here

Hope he travels 2nd class as I presume it will all be at TRP's expense
In my humble opinion
