02/2/2024 10:05 | Mate remind me what (relatively obscure?) comedy programme was SOAP from, I really liked it as well? I can remember the concept but not the programme, oldie with bad memory. | dunderheed
02/2/2024 09:44 | The big question is whether other entrepreneurs would have taken on this project in Trinidad. Does the difficulty in progressing successful drills to production outweigh the opportunity? Is the company guaranteed to be able to monetise the assets once they are producing, and will they continue to benefit or might the increasing prize on offer be too attractive for the host company to carry on letting foreign hands benefit to the extent that had been agreed. Sure Trinidad is not a South Sudan but maybe the size of the brown envelopes get increasingly larger and permits become more and more difficult to obtain until the seams of the envelope are under strain? Did the CEO get lucky? Is he competent to steer the ship. Does he have a track record of doing so? In this episode of SOAP…. Sorry, one for the oldies.. 😂😏 Buffy | buffythebuffoon
02/2/2024 09:04 | Agree in a way. Imho they intended to fill 60 as it is and with present new perforations [and some.more] and stimulations they would asap in a few months get to 90. That is what i got I speculate they were afraid to harm well integrity and did not let it go. Which is reasonable. But that should have been known and said at the beginning | kaos3
02/2/2024 08:38 | Hi KS - OK, your research is always more impressive than mine, and I'm not at home to go back through preesentation anyway, so I accept that they said it. I just remember all the well test results, and what waa stated about expected production - to me they've always needed a third well to get to 90MM. If you're installing a quantum of separation capacity, you don't just set that figure to what you think the supplying wells will do, you'd allow upside. | spangle93
02/2/2024 08:12 | I'm assuming you're referring to the whole of the Calgary office "area"? | dunderheed
01/2/2024 23:47 | Unfortunately the management of TXP are lacking in some areas. Hopefully they have so many assets that sooner or later the share price will increase. I nearly said explode but that could be misinterpreted. | chessman2
01/2/2024 22:58 | 90 was the target set by TXP......on the 2 wells.....we are doing about half. However.....the wells seem to be choked back.......to restrict the flow. Who knows whats happening. | 11_percent
01/2/2024 19:22 | Have to disagree with you, kaos I believe you do understand the TXP experts! ;-) Otherwise the only thing I think I'd push back on is that the TXP experts on another social media platform were expecting 90 MM, because that was the initial facilities capacity, but I'm not sure TXP ever promised that. | spangle93
01/2/2024 13:54 | I am a gardener but can not understand the txp experts. Latest is ng liquids coming in less than predicted by a lot. Cash consequences. Or current production of casca... against 60 predicted upgraded to 90 asap. Margins of error on the core knowledge are tòo big They had all relevant data before they did estimates and missed by just too much on too many issues. They will increase perforation. Ok. But them doing it is a risk and no estimates of the down time effects in current q were given. Pure knowlege problem. No problems with crews, delays etc. And royston being royal example they are not up to the speed in knowlege. Imho They are just lucky with the geology | kaos3
01/2/2024 11:19 | 36655 - Buffy - Hi and apologies for taking so long to reply. What I was trying to say, ahem, was that if they cannae get this Casca well right, in the "sweet spot" then all bets are off and as "disadvantaged" as the "management" team appear to be (I mean all being based in Canada of course!) surely they cannae f up the "sweet spot" that everyone likes to "talk" about - or used to anyway? We will find out soon hopefully - if they intend to RNS it - because of course they are so "big" now (not talking about the Board size but production profiles) they hardly need to RNS such inconsequential things, as well spuds and results, when they have far more important things like presenting at a "shares" conference to RNS, (according to some, (?!) to "analysts") who must be queueing up to attend such things - just behind the II's! All IMHO and best of luck to all! | dunderheed
01/2/2024 10:26 | FWIW from the TRIN RNS today "As announced on 13 June 2023, Trinity was successful in its bid for the Buenos Ayres block, offered in the 2022 Onshore and Nearshore Competitive Bid Round. We expect an official award of this licence to occur in Q1 2024 and anticipate being awarded Operatorship of the block with an 85% interest, as previously announced." | homebrewruss
01/2/2024 10:21 | Sleveen In the interview note Mr Baay said the minister has told him they want to award all new licences together - nothing is outstanding from TXPs perspective but a couple of others are still in negotiation which holds everyone back. He's certainly going to look a clot if he isn't successful in the award of BOTH licence, since he's presented highlights of each last week. | spangle93
01/2/2024 07:41 | To me the crux of the interview was - others BIG ones renegotiated their gas contracts. What are the numners before and afrer. I can not find anything. | kaos3
01/2/2024 07:32 | TRIN expecting sign-off in Q1; "As announced on 13 June 2023, Trinity was successful in its bid for the Buenos Ayres block, offered in the 2022 Onshore and Nearshore Competitive Bid Round. We expect an official award of this licence to occur in Q1 2024..." So same for TXP and it's new blocks? | sleveen
30/1/2024 13:40 | From the shares magazine presentation. Cascadura 2 and 3 “The key thing is we won’t be producing from different sheets, We will actually perforate everything”. That should be interesting. | paulhopeful
30/1/2024 13:40 | Ref 36698 Oh no, there's not going to be a secondary aftershock dip, please?? ;-) Thanks Russ | spangle93
30/1/2024 11:26 | The video from last week's presentation is now available | homebrewruss
30/1/2024 10:54 | 1 Doumus: Any info on C1? Many thanks. R. | retsius
29/1/2024 15:12 | That was always the plan for the year a continuous drilling programme. | ballymoss18
29/1/2024 13:38 | The problem is that we now have "the wall of cash".....but they are going to spend it.....and more.....on drilling.....taking the loan to do so. We can look forward to seeing some cash in the bank. All cash is going into drilling and development......no cash margin. So....it does not feel like a company that is making money. | 11_percent
29/1/2024 09:15 | Didn't this close up in Canada last session? Would preferred to have seen a rise today and a bottom marked, but as per usual for quite some time now, you just can't tell with TXP. The newsflow going forwards better be brilliant or I can see us heading into the 30s. Never thought that would have been possible with income greater than ever flowing into their account. The share price was much higher on hope and less income previously! | lauders |
