expect to see a share placing next as forward order book so poor.... what price? 60P might get that away or lower...

This was in low 20 last year. The price has almost quadrupled since while the order book has shrunk by 60%. Significantly overvalued, especially that they cannot benefit from the additional £0.5million cost savings from covid.

I see the order book massively down here on TST and they were unwilling to disclose what the order book looked like at the end of March 2021. Can see people taking profit while they can on a very illiquid stock here and can move down very quickly indeed.

This share is, imo, seeing the benefit of being run by a competent, honest, and clear sighted manager, who is well trusted because of his history. That gives his reasonably confident, optimistic and determined outlook credibility, in the face of not particularly good results.

What the AGM statement reveals about progress will be all important, imo.

Well one can nit pick through results and one can choose to look at what one wants in many different ways. However, with this year starting well and cash at 1.9 Mill with prospects of most being returned to shareholders, I'm happy to hold / add as I have done over the last few weeks. Each to their own.

Exactly, Smithie. Once you remove the 0.5million cost saving associated with Covid, things don't look that good. Loss position.

Indeed - "only" £500,000 of cost savings this year for a microcap like this.....:o))

Plus as TST said only 6 days ago, "Touchstar has made a better-than-expected start to 2021", and "the first quarter has certainly started better than we had expected".

A few random notes from TST's recent investor presentation FYI:

- recurring revenues were up 15% last year to £2.1m, and should be up another 15% this year
- three new customers for POD systems already this year
- Microsoft Mobile has been discontinued, so the resulting upgrade cycle will benefit TST
- TST will generate cash this year
- from here, every additional £1 of revenues should largely drop through to the bottom line
- £0.5m of last year's £0.9m drop in admin.costs should continue this year
- TST are in a trial with the NHS to distribute pharmaceuticals directly to homes. This could be a large contract assuming the trial is successful
- Access Control are trialling facial recognition in a Government department. This could also be significant in monetary terms

Any corrections/mistakes pointed out welcomed.

Order book down massively but share price will rerate once stupid market makers let it go. It is only market maker holding this back.

Virtually all of the cashflow has come from squeezing working capital again (they can't do this forever) and not investing in the business. The order book has dropped off a cliff.

I fully expect them to be back to their loss making ways this year.

You and I both held shares in Silanis which came right for us in the end. I appreciated your advice very much in 2018/19 when I had some difficulty in obtaining the proceeds due to me.
TST is a very different animal but it is re-assuring to learn that you take a positive view.

Good value on a low net cashflow multiple.
Depends what is planned for this excess cash pile with current low interest rates.
M/cap still too small for HQ overhead; TST must be tempted to bulk up via acquisition.
Or no point being listed.
