Given Hill has twice stated they need to exit or buy, a move now could well happen. They will certainly have had a plan either to stick or move taking account of a Gazania duster.

Any thoughts on eco being taken out, they could be quite vulnerable, I think AOI could make a move

Thats the strong rumours is that its 2 exploration well free carry to farm in - eg they must drill 2 different prospects - cannot be 1 explo and 1 appraisal.

We don't know that ECO will get a free carry with 3B/4B. Ricosure as the main holder will presumably be the main seller, if not bought out entirely.

As an EME holder I feel holders pain
But at least your drop isn’t as cataclysmic as EME’s was

Probably 40m to 50m a drill ???......but ECO will be free carried.

The farm out to the SuperMajor will be that they pay for 2 exploration wells.

A lot of selling obviously but plenty of buyers taking advantage of the massive drop.

With there having been a tendency by the company to big things up, I can't help but feel nervous about the 3B/4B alleged forthcoming farm out. I will therefore be mightily relieved to hear one of the supposed seven interested majors has actually committed.

What got me was his trying to apply the movement of the share price to striking oil. Bit of a tart for doing that.

Jamesiebabie, I try to keep it fair and balanced. However I do ban the trolls, which upsets them and which is why you will see lots of comments about me.

The way I look at it, trolls only add noise......nothing else and are best eliminated.

Why did they choose 18p at the opening. Did they just toss a coin? Looks to me as though a drop to 25p would have been realistic.

If it's any consolation the share price is still above where it was this time last year. The weekly chart shows a rising trend and as Eco still has a portfolio of valuable assets there is no reason why we shouldn't be back to where we were or considerably higher at some stage in 2023.

I see no sense in selling at these levels, only buying for those who can take a six to twelve month view and can stomach the wild ride.
