Currently they are just gathering data....and determining which licences have the best oil before making a play to buy or farm in to them.

At this stage you don't give out too much information, you use it covertly to get your hands on the licenses with expected oil.

The gane is afoot.

Pro or anyone else, what is your thinking on Total and Shell. Doesn't feel like they will be testing for commercial flow anytime before spudding for ECO .Feels more like they will just be evaluating and examining their data gathered. Do you agree ?

The elephants off Namibia are seen as higher risk, whereas the 2B block has a previous discovery in 1988. So not wildcat at all.

Just to clarify those net prospective resource figures, they do "not include the additional projects in Guyana that will (now have) come through Eco’s proposed acquisition of JHI Associates".

According to Graeme Bagley, head of Global Exploration & Appraisal at Westwood, analysis suggests the Lower Cretaceous Venus play could potential cover an area of up to ~58,000 sq km (22,394 sq mi), comparable to the Upper Cretaceous offshore Suriname-Guyana. So a similar-scale oil province is possible assuming that the traps are present and the deepwater reservoirs are widespread and of sufficient quality.

All the prospective acreage appears to have been snapped up already under fiscal terms that reflect the basins’ high-risk frontier nature.

The link also highlights the difficulty of too much gas, which I don't think has been an issue in the Walvis Basin

If anyone wants more info on Gazania-1 well, and how its looks extremely promising, then have a look at this 2021 Africa Oil presentation.

Gazania-1 should stike oil, and possibly in very thick and good porosity reservoir.

Yes, I bought a few more at 29.56. They're all buys at that price. What's the 800,000 sale at 29.11 all about?

Pro, yes am in i3e since the Liberator drills. Currently up near 100% there after averaging down a lot when the price was in the single digits.Bought in 80k shares so far here and intend to double that hopefully before the price takes off.

HD, yes, if the price falls below an oversubscribed placing price - you buy.

JM, I am sure there will be plenty of hype over Serenity, and EOG will benefit. If it were an investment better to have I3E, but for hype and a spike then EOG is the one to play pass the parcel with.

Pro, am in eog for the drill hype which should get the price to 4 -6p by spud.ECO is an investment with such big oil finds in that licence area recently.

Pro - I was happy enough to top up below the oversubscribed placing price too. I was mad about them using PrimaryBid, which nearly always smashes the share price, but as it gives us a chance to effectively participate in a placing in an ISA or SIPP by simply buying in the market, maybe I need to reconsider my hostility!

And given how I3E screwed up Serenity last time, and are happy to offload a big lump of it to EOG for little money........I think I prefer to be in ECO, or at least more weighted to ECO than EOG.

Serenity is a good prospect, however I fear I3E dont understand it too well, which is why as a cash rich company they are more than happy to farm it out to EOG.

They dont need to........so why are they ?

On the volume of trades over last few days the churn won't take more than 2 weeks from now imo. The dilution is just 28% and a lot of sticky major holders there.Eog recently did a 75% dilution and the share price is now 30% above the placing price after 2 weeks of admission. Eco and eog both drilling in September

Will be around 60p to 80p on spud of Gazania-1 imo..........no brainer with back up that Guyana will see 2 or 3 wells in H1 2023.
