pro s2009,is the movement likely to be because two days ago Reco reported it had commenced drilling the 1st of 3 wells this quarter,& that TD will conclude in 45 days time?Presumably if successful this would spark huge interest in Eco's acreage etc?Or could there be some other reason(s)? Maybe wise to closely follow Reco's share price up to the TD's

I'd say this has a pretty good risk reward profile at the moment in that not much upside is priced in. IMO, it's worth picking some up because you'd expect some buyer when eventually they approach their next drill in Guyana, whenever that might be. Any good news from that drill and it's 100p again.

Glad to read that It. I was in a similar position with HUR and am still way down here with ECO.

FWIW I also am confident and optimistic that we will see a strong increase here.

Well you know the script from first time around, and know the potential on the run up to a drill

I was £400k up then down £250k so bought more at 12p and averaged down to 37p.Drilling news should see it back to 80p and a positive result much higher 🤞

Not many bunnymen here yet!

Still holding a reduced 30 odd thousand shares from the glory days. Given Tullow's partial resurrection, more interested in what's going on now. Namibia certainly promising but anyone holding their breath for a farm-out must have snuffed it ages ago.

Looks like a break-out!

Is this the year the Cretaceous zone is drilled in Guyana revealing huge volumes of light oil....?

I hope you're right and agree it's worth picking some up here while few are interested in the story. I do worry about the discoveries, not because it was heavy but because of the sulphur. But, there certainly is a case to be made for good newsflow from Namibia and hopefully people buying in as the drilling in Guyana gets closer and/or starts. Pick em up and stash them away for a year or so...

IMO ECO is worth a lot more than a punt. No debt, strong mgt. Sitting on a Guyana block with two oil discoveries (yes heavy oil, but those have more value than most would give it). Targeting deeper Cretaceous in the next round of drilling, where Exxon has found 8 billion barrels of light oil. Mgt is confident we will succeed. Expect two drilling targets to be announced this summer with drilling in late 2021 or 2022.
Expect Namibia farm in news in the next couple months, too. There we hold big percentages of four blocks. Nearby drilling by others in 2021 will spur interest in ECO.
Buy when shares are cheap. I bought more today at .31 US.
Yep, I'm big on ECO.

Having bought these, sold some at high levels ( but not enough) and still hold some, is this worth a punt? Any views welcome.
