Meanwhile out in Utah ESG is the Satan's plan LOL!!
"ESG Is ‘Satan’s Plan,’ Utah's Treasurer Says"

Through his representative, Oaks said that ESG ignores “the very real human cost of boycotting fossil fuels” and that its “coercive tactics” mean that “capital is not going to where it would normally go—to profitable projects in the oil and gas industry.”

Utah treasurer is responding to the situation that US institutions are reluctant to lend to fossil fuel companies because of ESG....

If he had read this thread , he would have been aware of that about 2 years ago....
When the gamblers started talking about borrowing $130m (now $200m +) I mentioned that the institutions had already stepped back on ESG grounds - that is getting worse not better.....

If a larger holder was on the board it would be for self interest not anyone else's

Fenners at long last some on the other thread are catching up with the reality of the difference between drawing a non-execs remuneration and having a bit of skin in the game.

Looks to me like rmart has made his latest 10% and is looking to buy lower rinse and repeat.

If peeps keep letting him sell higher , then so be it , they have a choice....

Vauch,

I am sure Matt Jones who has recently declared a 154m holding is bothered. And the other 2 big holders who have 83m and 72m are too.

But what can they do about it? Yes they could call an egm between them but for what resolutions ?

It would seem from the silence that there is little alternative but to keep the faith.

Although personally I would like to see a resolution to put a large holder on the bod to look after shareholder interests.

Imo, it seems the only thing we have to bargain with now is the 10 year lease. No one can come onto the land without dealing with tomco. But then do they need this particular land ?

Rmaert, it seem all holders are not really bothered, or we would have had major holders calling for EGM. and maybe looking to slim down the crew by a couple.

This is becoming a total embarrassment now. The BOD should make a statement. It is now over 12 months since JP said finance was sorted.

I posted this last week and removed it as it upset some people but I am sorry, it needs saying now.

THEY SIMPLY MUST UPDATE SHAREHOLDERS.

Shareholders have been very patient here. Have some respect for them, you have collected how much in salaries? over the last year whilst all you have achieved is delay after delay after delay.

It is simply, not good enough.

I have emailed this to the company. Let’s see if anyone has the balls to reply.

5th April is two weeks tomorrow.

With the best will in the world another extension will be required.

How long has this 'free carry' taken to negotiate? As JP will tell anyone it is f..king difficult to convert narrative into cash.

Had investors bothered to read about JP and the Reform Saga, they would not be involved with TOM but would have invested in more useful well run projects instead of messing around with JP for no benefit.

Our team is dedicated to finding innovative solutions to the world's energy challenges, and we are constantly exploring new ways to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels

Bit of a conflict of interest there !!!

I reported the Braveheart stuff months ago....

none of the gamblers took much notice then, nothing will sway them from their "faith" ...

As for the idea that no news means something happening with financing - well look at the time delay between JP announcing negotiations for financing and the final outcome at Reform Energy plc...

Ducky Fuzz I disagree with you, although you will not see it because you have me filtered.

An EGM will do good. It will flush out if there is bad news but more importantly it will reset the relationship between the BoD and shareholders.

If there is bad news it is a matter of fact and just timing.

The reset is important because, unless shareholders speak, the BoD will foist placings on shareholders until they run out of cash buying the placing shares at a premium to issue price.

Hello vauch .. an EGM would achieve didly squat and the only news
we would get would be bad news for the share price.

They will announce the funding when it is available not until.

If the funding had collapsed there would have been some sort of change in direction rns.

Most likely will be told funding on hold due to banking crises, always some excuse.
Time for an EGM.
