21/11/2008 11:48 | The Company has also entered into an unconditional put option agreement, exercisable at the Company's sole discretion at any time between 1 January 2009 and 1 January 2011, to raise a further £437,500 through an additional placing of shares with Graham Platts. The price of any new shares issued pursuant to this agreement will be based on the average offer price over the 20 business days preceding the date of exercise. There are no commissions or fees associated with either the agreement or the placing of new shares pursuant to this agreement This could be a potential problem if funds were needed at a low share price Difficult to deduce anything in these markets other than everyone is running scared. | drw1
21/11/2008 11:30 | 'Company had cash resources of £0.9m as at the end of June. An additional £0.56m was raised through a placing of new shares in July 2008 , at which time the Company entered into an unconditional put option agreement allowing it to raise, in the future, a further £0.44m through an additional placing of shares' The facts on cash position. Trading was said to be on an improving trend in Interim results. Clearly a supply and demand inbalance currently exists in Time-strip shares. Comment from the company should be forthcoming given the severity of the price drop, good or bad in the interests of clarity to current or prospective investors. | drw1
21/11/2008 11:26 | Another "super stock" pumped and dumped by the filth in the suits bites the dust, take what you can before it's too late......;-(( | roorontev
21/11/2008 11:03 | We are still waiting for part two of the contract/order to see just how much it is worth....the company said that this would follow but not as yet arrived. | sagem
21/11/2008 10:47 | There needs to be some sort of comment from the company - "We know of no reason etc..." But they probably won't bother. | michaelsr
21/11/2008 09:32 | there could have been a massive trade not reported yet..... | gerrykells
21/11/2008 09:31 | Well - RHPS had it as a HOLD last week at the old price. If it's this low now I would expect it to become a buy? | michaelsr
21/11/2008 09:26 | If no news i suppose it's M.M's fun and games time, at our expense!!! | alby220
21/11/2008 09:24 | Why have they dropped it 33% on no trades or no news?? i see no sense in this massive drop | alby220
21/11/2008 09:23 | Actually I wonder if this is just down to lethargy - no news, tiny volumes, the MMs have control... what's new? Insider information would not seem likely given that all of the MMs acted in concert. That would warrant investigation if it came shortly before a bad RNS. Time will tell (pun intended)! | michaelsr
21/11/2008 09:21 | Michael, No, but I fear we may soon with a 33% drop!! Painful days,I wish I owned one good stock in my"portfolio" ! Thats a laugh. Roll on Christmas, all my stocks will be out of business and I can get on with life poorer but wiser in 2009, good luck to all holders and cheers. | boldtrader
21/11/2008 09:12 | Anybody know anything? | michaelsr
18/11/2008 13:42 | Waiting for part two of the recent contract/order and value....this should be announced soon I hope. | sagem
14/11/2008 16:04 | only buys today...hopefuly something should give very SOON... | soho2
11/11/2008 15:40 | The share price will rise when we receive part two of this excellent order and what it is worth cash wise of course. This share price is far to low for its worth/potential due mainly to the economic climate and general depression. .................... This is an excellent contract achieved but for some reason seems to have gone unoticed:- Plastek signs Timestrip deal Packaging News, 04 April 2007 Timestrip has secured a partnership with Plastek Group, the plastic packaging supplier, to integrate its smart labels into caps and closures. This comes just after a deal with the Keter Group, owner of Curver food storage containers, for expiry date indicator labels. Timestrip has received notification that its Patent Corporation Treaty (PCT) patent has been granted in the US and Mexico. The firm's core patent has already been granted in the UK, EU and South Africa. //////////////////// xxThe firm's core patent has already been granted in the UK, EU and South Africa.xxx //////////////////// | sagem
11/11/2008 08:25 | Agreed but, on the other hand, .. if they'd increased it at open yesterday by 40% on the back of good news the buys would have come in | andrbea
11/11/2008 08:24 | Whilst being a most welcome piece of news, i don't think the mm's have slipped up in not raising the share price. it is usually volume that moves shares, and with little over £1000 worth bought, I am not at all surprised at the static price. now if you guys bought £10k worth we might see some action! | gerrykells
11/11/2008 07:41 | Agreed Sagem MMs slipped up IMO in their zero reaction to yesterday's RNS Good news like this isn't appreciated just now in this nervy market. And not revealing a contract price is common in this segment (hml do it all the time....) ;-) | andrbea
11/11/2008 07:37 | Well I thought we might have got a small share price increase but I suppose the MM are waiting to see just how much this contract is worth as no mention of price was revealed....this will come in their next statement and it should be very good as this looks like a massive ORDER in the cosmetic industry. AS WAS SAID................ Reuben Isbitsky, Joint Chief Executive, Timestrip Plc, commented: 'This deal is important for a number of reasons. Not only have we have broken into a potentially lucrative sector that is governed by legislation, but we will also be able to showcase a full integration of our technology into the packaging of a mass-market product that is both aesthetically pleasing and extremely functional. We aim to establish Timestrip in the Beauty and Cosmetics sector in the same way that we are fast becoming a technology of choice in the Appliance/Consumable | sagem
10/11/2008 07:51 | Great news! Well done Timestrip It could, over time, become standard practice across the industry | andrbea
10/11/2008 07:43 | Sounds like some possibility of volume adoption here. | drw1
10/11/2008 07:34 | AT LAST A GOOD CONTRACT WITH COSMETIC COMPANY FOR USA AND EUROPE ;- RNS Number : 7233H Timestrip PLC 10 November 2008 Timestrip plc ('Timestrip') Cosmetics Order Timestrip plc is delighted to announce that it has received its first order to supply its patented Timestrip product into the Cosmetics sector. The deal involves the full integration of the Timestrip into the packaging of a branded cosmetics product that will be launched in 2009 throughout the US and in selected outlets in Europe. Confidentiality restrictions prevent disclosure of the identity of the brand, product or leading beauty retail chain through which the product will be sold, until closer to launch. Known as a 'Period After Opening' instruction, all cosmetic products sold in the EU with a shelf life over 30 months have to show for how long the product can be safely used after opening. Governed by the EU Cosmetics Directive, this is currently satisfied by printing a line drawn symbol of an open jar with a number (of months) on the product's label, which is fast becoming accepted as best practice worldwide. In recent months Timestrip was featured in a number of leading U.S. women's magazines culminating in television segments on both the Today Show and NBC News. This media attention focused on Timestrip as a solution for keeping track of the age of beauty products and highlights a growing consumer awareness of this issue. Timestrips are unique in their ability to go further than a simple printed instruction, as they show when the limit on that recommended storage time has actually been reached, by virtue of the coloured liquid reaching the end of the window.
