18/12/2017 20:03 | I was never presented with any “buy out offers” I guess the bigger holders would always hold sway over us minority PI’s, sadly being a minority means your rarely get a say. The only positive I see is that our shares are all worth the same, if the company is worthlesss then all shareholders end up with nothing so in the end I hope we get something. (My investment was written off years ago). I would need to see evidence to suggest Miami has done anything untoward while trying to salvage his own investment (& ours) in Timan. It surprises me we even have a chance of survival given all the twists, turns and bumps in this one. | oli12
18/12/2017 19:53 | Over the course of last 10 years since they took over the company, management hasn’t done anything in favor of minority shareholders. Tell us at least something what miami or the current managemend has done to save the company? It rejected a few generous buy out offfers in the past and now we are stuck in the place called NOWHERE. | kubok012
18/12/2017 19:21 | Kubok what is the truth then, please enlighten me - I don’t have a clue who to believe on this one, this was one of my worse investments - I still laugh I could have been so stupid to buy here - it wasn’t even a gamble it was an odds on disaster when I look back with the benefit of experience and hindsight | oli12
18/12/2017 19:10 | miami, we both know this is another lie | kubok012
18/12/2017 17:25 | Thanks for the update Miami and continued hard work on this. For those with shares here, will there be value left in them once we exit the CVA? ( a difficult question to answer I know). | oli12
18/12/2017 16:58 | The final stage of concluding the CVA is being delayed because the final tranche of agreed funding to settle with creditors and the CVA supervisors will only be forthcoming once the historic accounts are submitted. I spoke with deloittes last week and they appear to be in the final stages of this. If things run to plan, we should be out of the CVA in the early part of next year and be convening a GM shortly after. | miamisteve
18/12/2017 16:19 | A major shareholder sold his stake only 2 or 3 years ago for £1 psh . Is this the company or was it somebody else? | debbiegee
18/12/2017 15:01 | A question. I notice Araca Energy ASA which is listed in Norway owns 27.5% of Timan Oil and Gas Plc. (acquired from Levant Energy) Big IF but surely these shares must have some value? | oli12
14/12/2017 15:56 | Thanks. I might try that Timan is one of my banana skins, only held around 45k shares however any loss would be useful. | oli12
14/12/2017 15:41 | Oil12, If you approach the HMRC and give them the circumstances, ie not traded for.... delisted date, no news for x years no discernible chance of return etc. They may grant you no value status. | fireplace22
14/12/2017 15:36 | The delisting irreversible. The only way PI(s) will see any value is of someone offers them residual value for their shares privately - assuming a. There is some value and b. Somebody wants it. It's unlikely to happen. I would like to use the "loss" for tax off set however that's also hard in this situation. | oli12
14/12/2017 13:03 | Well Barclays have removed this altogether from my cfd account in September 2016 so no going back there. Presumably they were informed of no commercial value? | fireplace22
14/12/2017 12:46 | Thanks from me also seconduser for taking the trouble to follow up and report on here, it is very much appreciated. | excell1
11/12/2017 16:41 | Hear Hear OIL 12 and thanks again secconduser ! So much intrigue and flurries of hoppe over the years truly have come to nothing but a major holder did a while back manage to sell his holding for 100p so at some point we could well have some good news and if anybody can find it we should be grateful :-) | debbiegee
11/12/2017 16:40 | seconduser thanks for the update what do you have to say to that arfur!!!! | buzzzzzzzz
11/12/2017 15:53 | Thank you for the update, very much appreciated. Some on here would moan if you offered them their original investment back. | oli12
11/12/2017 13:31 | A pleasure debbiegee. Give them a call, they are quite happy to talk to sharehlders about the current status of Timan. | seconduser
11/12/2017 13:29 | I am only repeating what I was told, but as a reputable firm I doubt that they would give a misleading update. You on the other hand are completely unknown to me. | seconduser
11/12/2017 13:11 | Come on, dont be silly, man. timan will no longer be able to resume trading on LSE AIM (it has been delisted, not suspended). It is a long procedure that requires a lot of work to be done to relist the stock back, thus simply write it off completely. | kubok012
11/12/2017 12:51 | Thank you seconduser :-) | debbiegee
25/10/2017 16:32 | Righto BUZZZZZZZ, | arthurdaley69
29/9/2017 12:39 | I don't for one moment think that Miami would sell out and leave the rest of us to rot. Probably there is nothing going but even if there were I have no doubt he would not give us clue as he would be hounded by idiots wanting more info etc and accusing him of selling out etc. I won't believe the fat lady has sung until Miami tells me she is steeping onto the stage. I have met him and he strikes me as the sort of guy who would tell us when it's over. | buzzzzzzzz
20/9/2017 20:49 | Guess a reply from Miami may read. HI Guys Enjoying my time in the Seychelles, just bought yet another property here and lapping up the clear blue waters. Can't talk long as I have yet another beauty on my arm. Anyway thanks guys for all your gifts....('Thinks'). | excell1
18/9/2017 15:52 | miamisteve, kindly do your duty and provide update and put us out of our misery. | astorcourt |
