Issue of Equity


The directors of Cambrian Mining Plc ("the Company") have today allotted new
ordinary shares in the company upon the exercise of 125,000 "A" warrants at 20p
each and the exercise of 75,000 options at an exercise price of 20p. 150,000 new
shares were also allotted under an existing contract with Tiger Resource Finance
Plc at 45p each. A further 25,000 new shares were issued at 40p.

In total 375,000 new ordinary shares were issued.

Tiger Resource Finance Plc, as a result of this issue, now hold 6.96% of the
issued capital of the Company.

Application has been made for the new shares to be traded on the Alternative
Investment Market of the London stock exchange. Trading is expected to commence
on 22 October 2003.
