Would like to see your workings, I get shares at todays close and bank to bank currency conversion at £3,922,000 plus cash from 30th June at £2,496,386 to give NAV 2.7p per share so price is at a good discount. I recall there were some warrants with one of their investments a few years ago which were well in the money at one stage although not sure how they are doing now, will have to dig back and see what I can find on those.

another good rise by ivanhoe mines...now at $11.5...also released more good drilling reports today...surely the market can't ignore this stock for much longer...

since the last interims i have set up a portfolio of all investments held by tir.AS of the interims value of portfolio to june stood at 1,785,746 .today the value stands at 3,700,428.my calculations have been based on holdings from interim june 03.i think things r looking good for the future:-)))

Thanks for the advice but dont TIR have a large stake in MNT. Also 1.75 is not a bad price to enter into this share. Ive bought to spread my risk abit can see these at around the 4-5p mark within six months from now. All depends on what some other companys do ie MNT

I'm not sure which post you're referring to, but I've absolutely no idea whether Tiger have sold any Minmet shares or not.

I can only think that you are referring to a post I made a month or so ago when I said that I'd be surprised if Tiger hadn't taken at least some profit from the Minmet's rapid rise.

I really hope you are correct.

If MNT's share price peaks sharply again then I think TIR may break 2p bid, but I'd be amazed if it manages to break and hold above 3p unless something meteoric happens.

take a look at Ivanhoe mines shareprice..has nearly doubled since Tiger produced figures ending 30/06/03...valued then at 293k

Guys,

These have consistently traded below NAV.

I bought into these when the company was formed and have followed them ever since. My only advice .... don't expect TIR to make you rich quickly. If I get the chance to sell all of my holding (rather than only part of it) above 2p I will do it in a shot.

Only time will tell if I'm right or not, but to be honest I wish I'd never bought in the first place. MNT selling their stake in the company was the last straw for me.

May be a few other people out there with similar thoughts. So the 2p level may be hard to break.

Anyway, best of luck with your holding and here's hoping we can all make some money.

anyone notice that Cluff mining added 16pts to its shareprice last week..now up to 129p...tiger have a few of these shares
