A point to ponder, due you consider, that, in the absence of a suitable combine or even a worthy tractor, with suitable tyres, himself is having and even , I dare suggest ,suffering from withdrawl symptoms.Hence the need for his bigger food warming device. And it is not an ego trip.

Quite right. Have not had wine gums for years because of fear they might jack out fillings -- that is because I cannot resist chewing them like mad.

A nice surprise for you. Always good when MOT is passed with nothing required.

I suggested to Mrs Ig that I would change the pads and discs

30 years ago maybe ,she seemed to think that I would struggle jacking the car up let alone changing the parts.
Probably right ...my garage is £55 per hour ....let them do it.
All the tools to hand etc.
Have a feeling I would need "torx" socket to free the disc from the hub.
Ain't not got any of those !

Indeedy
Seems the way it is done ...get paid a small fortune for failure
If bored with that , we can manage a Premier Football Team ....massive salary
Lose a few matches and get sacked with a massive pay off !

And then buy a Farm and live the life of leisure.

Talking of brakes, just ordered new discs and pads for the Fiesta. Last ones are now 4 years old and one disc is looking a bit sorry for itself as seems to be the one which always catches the rain.
Good luck with the toymota, but better to know if something needs replacing than not know.

We could always take the accepted legal route of starting a limited company, get some bank loans, pay ourselves a massive salary and outlandish expenses, go bankrupt and walk away.

Maybe we can set up in FFP'S Barn if
he can ever find it.

Toymota having it's MOT this morning
4 years old , only seems like yesterday that I bought the "throbbing monster"

Brakes must soon need a look. ..39000 miles so the pads will be getting there
Usual blurb about discs being worn no doubt....

Must be legal if the UK Treasury does it

How can we be doing wrong ?

Good Morning.
Very astute of you ig. It is indeed not fair. Are you suggesting we should collectively invest in a John Bull Printing set?

How come Governments can print 100's of millions of pounds /dollars whatever to stimulate the economy.
If we sit at home printing a few , it is illegal .

Double standards if you ask me
