Yes that's more or less what they've said about Pilbara but whilst not big money per se it seems expensive and possibly inappropriate expenditure just for window dressing. I'm not sure it doesn't detract from the real focus which should be on why the core assets are worth investing in.

Pilbara is just a bit of eye candy so people don't walk away from Thor. Mainly for the ASX folks which they hope will have a knock on effect here. The RNS says little more than 'we bought tickets on a plane'. I see the game they are playing (PJ said it in his Proactive interview before xmas) to help keep the share price up while things develop. But if they got something to say i'd rather they get on and say it and stop these trivial rns's.

Only time will tell but my excitement is slowly but surely diminishing but will continue to hold. I can't say it's done badly given it has still retained a lot of it's gains.

I'm inclined to agree with that. The flirtation with Pilbara doesn't fit with THR's newly declared strategy which was to focus on producing value from the core assets and projects. I don't think they intend to spend much cash on it but it saps management resources, feels superficial and came across as unconvincing in interview. Need to clear the seller before more substantial news.

Agree Jarega, the Aussies seem to get excited about Pilbara but I'm looking for the commercialising/monetising existing identified assets news not more pie in the sky stuff. That's what they promised so come on, boys.

I don't go with the shorting theory and I wouldn't expect today's announcement to set the share price alight but it does look as though there is a persistent seller into any strength.

Real spread from DTs is 2.76 - 2.93.

Forming solid support from the consolidation.

Thor has much news to come and is financed through to 2019 with exceptional projects in a strongly rising commod space.

Only just seen it, bit of a 'bridging' RNS if there was such a thing, agree with both your positives Vish.

At least acknowledging investor frustration now saying Molyhil update 'very' soon and others being being worked on:-

"....We are aware that investors are keen to have project specific updates from across the business. The board are eager to provide such updates and we are finalising various work activities, following which we will be in a position to report in more detail to the market..."

Bit awkward for them when they're confident the substance is there but can't really RNS until facts are absolute. Benefit of the doubt from me but please get a move on, sentiment can wane.

Promoting Mr Bradey. Been with Thor since 2011 and younger at 53 which would provide some long term continuity if any of the 'oldies' step aside as things develop.

Option prices increasing . Wester Shaw paid for with shares at 2,5p , now Bradey has options at 4.5p (after trading a while at 6p)

But this RNS has partly been needed as a failure to release news they have been spouting on about for a long time . Got an unsettling feeling PJ has suggested doing this to string people along and keep Thr 'buzzing' with investors while there's little or no substance behind what is being said or suggested in all these interviews. Its been ramped to high heaven on Twitter.

Time will tell.
