Sanks did read it well. Good job he didn’t listen to toansy’s peer pressure. Toansy sounds like he is a big gambler. All his net worth is in this so I get why he is desperate but no need to make others lose money (which Sanks would have done had he been pressured into staying in).

I did warn if there is no bid accepted this will be back below £1 because the fundamentals aren’t there. There will be no dividend on this stock for at least 7/8 years. Your investment will be eroded by inflation to the tune of 30% by that time. That’s the problem with these sorts of businesses ~ once the margin goes south and the cash flow gets worse it’s very difficult. The market is not stupid. I keep warning this is not a cash flow generating business but people continue to ignore and prefer to dream of £3 bids. Madness.

Why do people keep and saying MM cant afford this, Candy cant afford that! Do you know how PE works. You personally put down a small amount and the rest is backed by the PE firm, it's who you know!

Like buying a house, you cant afford to buy a £500k house, but with a 5% deposit, and the help of a bank, you certainly can buy it! Jeez

We don't need a rocket scientist to work out what is going on here!

EVERY GAME and TACTIC from their playbook will be played here to scare and shake as many holders as they can! They want every single share off you.

Just need to ignore these 'swings', in the short time frame, LTH's know due to the very unique share register of THG, algos can pretty much do as they like, price means nothing.

Just got to relax, sit on your hands, and wait for the bids to come in.

Minute the Bids RNS came in, did say be prepared for anything and everything, real games has only just started!

I admit I know little about this kind of thing but a have a question: where would MM get the money to take THG private? Surely much of his wealth is tied up in THG shares and they have fallen drastically for the last few months.

You all sound like one of those mad conspiracy theorists- when the share price goes down it’s a conspiracy and illegal games and the market is corrupt but when it goes up the market is fine. Well, it's good to remain cautious in these situations, but have taken a punt here. As long as the chart stays in an upward trend things should be ok. 2-3 days of declines and I'd probably get out. Keep a close eye on the Holdings RNS to see what the big players are doing. GLA.

agreed Toansy - but the lack of volume and falling share price suggest market do not see much of a chance of TO anymore - what your thoughts on this? but mood is defo back to bear/ neagative so far and yesterday vs Friday and monday

Understood but £8b to 3b isn’t bear it’s forced sale. THG is not a forced sale. 3b was not a quote from MM it was ‘reported̵7; by the same media that have waged a war of disinformation against THG for months.
