They know if they leave it too long more and more mortgages will end on cheap rates and then they will risk a fast decline in spend, increase in house repos, and a house market crash. They will want to avoid that at all costs They are lucky it hasn't cascaded so far, it's only the wealthy holding up the economy. But there is only so much wealth to munch up all the housing stock.

Inflation for April should come in at the BOE 2% target.

I am hoping for an interest rate cut in June, although the market is not currently pricing this in !

Much more positive macro developing, world markets rallying on interest rate cut expectations and THG share price still being very closely contained.

No F56, IBM didn't foresee the software market unlike its peers and instead concentrated on hardware for its fruits except it became far too expensive and its mainframes couldn't compete with its cheaper branded rivals but has seemingly changed its business strategy since to now concentrate on the 'Cloud' which takes time to reap the rewards so don't dismiss it just yet buddy as many did with Apple back in the day and you don't need me to tell you what ultimately came to fruition there!

You once needed a Mensa IQ just to work for IBM. Makes you wonder why considering the performance of the share price. Saying that at least the IBM share price is up - 20-40% over 20-40 years or so.
