Love this from Liberum :]ALL DIVISIONS WILL HELP TO IMPROVE MARGINS Analysts at Liberum said "the bottom of the earnings cycle has passed" for THG, and that all three of the company's divisions would help improve margins over the next three years. They said: "[The] successful completion of the group's three-year global infrastructure roll-out, and the strong efficiencies these investments are delivering, mean we now anticipate full-year capital expenditure will be around £30 million less than previously guided."The analysts said margins should improve in THG's beauty division in the second half of the year after the group reduced costs in its manufacturing business and started automating its warehouse in the US.

Analyst's have turned positive, the powers that be have pushed the buy button.

Analysts at Liberum said “the bottom of the earnings cycle has passed” for THG, and that all three of the company’s divisions would help improve margins over the next three years.
They said: “[The] successful completion of the group’s three-year global infrastructure roll-out, and the strong efficiencies these investments are delivering, mean we now anticipate full-year capital expenditure will be around £30 million less than previously guided.”
The analysts said margins should improve in THG’s beauty division in the second half of the year after the group reduced costs in its manufacturing business and started automating its warehouse in the US.
Meanwhile, THG’s Ingenuity platform has delivered a contract with Maximo Group, an online beauty retailer. The platform has also secured contracts with L’Oréal, L-Fashion Group and a number of Australian beauty brands.
Analysts at Numis said: “Management were pleased with the acceleration in growth despite the focus on profitability. Performance in beauty was the highlight, with growth expected to remain positive in the fourth quarter.

100% Seperate US listing is on its way.

All the major papers are running with it.

Telegraph
THG’s Myprotein nutrition division delivers record profits as it eyes US float
HANNAH BOLAND
THG has hailed record profits at its Myprotein nutrition business, days after The Daily Telegraph revealed the former British tech champion was eyeing a US float of the division.

Matt Moulding, THG’s founder, said the company’s nutrition business delivered its “best ever Q3 profit performance” despite a relaunch in August that saw it debut fewer new products.

THG didn’t give a profit figure in its trading update but said sales at the division, which includes Myprotein, were up 0.2pc so far this year. It was the only division to eke out growth.

Manchester-based THG said Myprotein was performing better than other divisions after it invested in keeping prices low during the period of peak inflation. It meant customers carried on spending rather than seeking out cheaper alternatives.

The business specialises in bars and drinks for gym-goers and was struck by the rising price of whey protein, which is used in shakes, last year.

Mr Moulding, 51, has been under pressure from activist investors to spin off the division and the company is said to be eyeing the US rather than London.

The discussions over listing the nutrition business follow earlier suggestions from THG that it would consider carving out its beauty business.

Sources said this week that the nutrition arm was now seen as the most likely division to be split out. THG was valued at £5.4bn when it floated on the London Stock Exchange in September 2020 but has seen its share price tumble more than 90pc since then, amid concerns about governance and strategy.

Mr Moulding has been highly critical of the UK markets. He previously claimed THG’s float in London was a “mistake”; and said the London Stock Exchange was an “incredibly tough place” to build a technology business.

Sales across THG are down 5.5pc so far this year. However, sales over the last three months were only 4.4pc lower than the same quarter a year earlier.

Shares in THG bounced as much as 9pc on the update. Jefferies analysts said: “We anticipate a return to growth.”

The capex being kept at 130/140m was always BS. I knew rightly he has that in the bag to mess around with to make sure we have FCF. The analysts hadn’t worked that out. I expect that to drop significantly and FCf to be a lot more than expected.

Shares are a 5 year investment. I’m 2 years in. We are sitting very nice now, Matt did catch me too early with his BS but it is what it is.

Nothing to Jan now unless a whale gets announced. Let the muppets talk away. I’ll enjoy the sun daily :)

Some bloke on LSE.£5M FCF is well ahead of time and given the Capex spend and there are an awful lot of positives in that BRR webcast. Note the tone, listen to the analysts reactions. Cash generation now prioritised over the previous 2 year loss leading to get sales, announcements to come including one high profile one. Beauty and Ingenuity definitely heading the right way. No Royal Mail strikes either this year or knock on effect of overloading other couriers to disrupt Q4 trading like last year. Committed to Premium ListingThen on Nutrition and coming after the Telegraph article only the day before. Get the context before and listen to question 1. The share price rose during and just after the analysts call for very good reason. Nutrition record quarter. Licensing deals but note the mentions of the accounts of all seperate divisions being both UK AND US compliant and Moulding definitely didn't dispel what was said.https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/1029785/thg-mulls-us-listing-for-nutrition-division-1029785.htmlhttps://stream.brrmedia.co.uk/broadcast/650d93e739ad9f961be9df87/652e379e60419d1d649d0a2a
