Looks as though share price going yo implode on very little news. |
Looks like MNTN (& MNTC) are available on AJ Bell - I can get a live quote. |
Not available to retail investors, it appears. (The prospectus confirms this.) |
I'm interested in buying the C shares (one-third is cash) but ii aren't interested in letting me! I've raised a dispute. See what happens! |
I read on article on City Wire's website today stating that "Investec" analysts (Alan Brierley and Ben Newell)think that share price is likely to fall to NAV. I'm staying in, as i intend to hold for minimum of 5 years and only bought in 12 months ago. Painful to watch that huge gain dissipate to almost nothing though!

Baillie Gifford's funds have taken quite a big hit in recent times (just look at SMT). Market sentiment seems to have moved away from growth stocks which is where this one sits. When things will turn is anyone's guess. |

Wow one hell of a quiet board for a fund that seems to be going in the right direction. Just jumped in and looking forward to some good returns. |
Interims out today. NTA 7/21 164c per share (147c 1/21), large premium remains and shares being issued to institutions at 226c yesterday.
I have a relatively small shareholding to take advantage of Baillie Gifford network and some interesting and diverse investments. Very much speculative part of portfolio. |
Remains on a crazy premium, but if you must, this is the first year's AR: |
